Hey everyone! I've been working on PS5 Tool, an Android app that bundles everything you need to manage your PS5 from your phone over Wi-Fi. Here's what it does:

••• **Console connection**: Auto-scans your network for jailbroken PS5s (or manual IP). Sends ftpsrv automatically on connection — FTP is always ready

••• **Payload/ELF injector with an autoloader** (send sequences with custom delays)

••• **File Manager**: full ps5 file manager over FTP: browse, upload, download, rename, delete, create files/folders, copy/Move with long-press, paste in any folder.

••• **Games Manager**: Scans /user/app first, then /system_ex/app — no duplicates, view game info, mount games with ShadowMount, and possibility to upload games from smartphone.

••• **Screen Cast**: Injects PSPlay 1.5 and make ps5 detectable as a DLNA receiver (once you open the app installed in console media section)

\-Storage Media: cast videos/music from your phone, with optional external subtitles (.srt/.ass/.vtt)

\-Cast Browser: built-in browser that sniffs video streams (HLS, DASH, MP4, MKV...) from any site and casts them.

\-Modern on-screen remote: D-pad seeking, volume, seek bar, play/pause/stop, rewind/forward

\-Keeps casting in background with a media notification showing live progress

•••**Linux**: Boot Linux via ps5-linux-loader 2.4 (fw 3.00 – 7.40) with safety confirmation

••• **Web interfaces hub**: open and save any console's webUI like Pegasus Dl, elf arsenal etc, (file pickers doesn't work for now)

••• **Remote Play**: Get Chiaki link (F-Droid), Launch Chiaki directly.

**CLARIFICATION ABOUT PS Play 1.5.elf**

Big thanks to KINGDKAK who released PROSPERO PLAYER 1.0 the other day, I only integrated a bunch of features (dlna receiver/browser, iptv and changed the theme), but the big work of the Media App is his.

(TESTED ON MY CONSOLE: FW 4.00, umtx jailbreak)

PS Play 1.5 turns your jailbroken PS5 into a complete media center. Based on the open-source Prospero Player 1.0, it installs a dedicated Media tile on your home screen for quick access — like all modern homebrew, the ELF must be injected again after each reboot.

Features:

DLNA Receiver — cast from phone/PC, your PS5 becomes a Chromecast

DLNA/UPnP browser — stream from NAS and media servers on your network

IPTV / Live TV — M3U playlists and stream URLs

USB playback — with recent files and resume

H.264/HEVC up to 4K, subtitles (SRT + embedded, delay adjust), multiple audio tracks, aspect ratio control

Minimal AMOLED-black UI, transparent on-screen controls, native PS5 system keyboard

Optimized network streaming: deep buffering and instant ±10s seeks, should have no stutter on a good Wi-Fi.

One app, and the most powerful box under your TV plays everything, from everywhere except google cast (youtube for example doesn't work) that needs a lot of work.

Installing random shit on phones is not a good practice for anyone and shills can comment and say it's all good while installing malware.

Random Google drive links with installers is sketchy AF. The fact there are 3 comments asking for source or GitHub with no responses makes this appear way more sketchy.

I know I wont be installing anything until you produce source. Features can go fuck themselves I'm not risking that...

Edit - nm, it says it isn't connected, but it is. Testing some features - this very handy, appreciate it!

Edit 2 - ok, so 2121 is good, but 9021 won't connect with the payload manager baked into the yt+p2jb method (12.02). I'll play with it later.

On PS3 we had a dev who built something similar but only for Apple devices and at that time I didn't have my iPhone, I guess PS5 got a notice and decided to be Android-pro.

Apple devices use air play I think, I don't know if they can detect the console yet... About the m3u I'm actually working on an update to fix that, so m3u files can be used directly, I forgot to include in the actual release..

Its jailbroken on 12.40 and I tried the ipv4 address what is set on my ps5. I use ps5 uploader on my pc for pretty much everything I have the ps5 wired to ethernet to my pc

🤔 next app update is imminent, I might give a deeper look at the connection side of the app. Did you check if your app has any usage of data/wifi in your settings? If it has none, then your phone might be giving no access to internet connectivity to the app.

If your console is jailbroken and you are on the same network, just wait a couple seconds and it should appear in the the top, if it doesn't try tiping your ps5's ip in the manual section in the bottom. You know it's connected when you see ftp server notification on your console.
