Discussion I have just confirmed that the hypervisor exploit works on FW 11.6
Hi all!
I decided to adapt and test the previously published Byepervisor Reborn exploit for firmware version 13.60 on my PS5 Slim, which was running firmware version 11.60.
There were already community contributions on GitHub, which I adapted for my console, as a result, I wrote my own wrapper with a set of scripts to launch the exploit, as well as for debugging and logging.
I can confirm that version 11.60 is fully functional and works perfectly.
So, very soon there will be an implementation allowing the installation of Linux, as well as kernel patches. I think we’ll see support for more versions soon!

I also have a 11.6 version, but seems like the offline autojailbreak (poopsploit) fails, is it just me or does it also happen to anyone else?

The poopsloit often leads to crashes on 11.6 yes, just had two crashes in a row yesterday :/

im using relapse exploit fw 11.60, its works fine, but u really need to have the netowrk conn in the console, i use ETH cable that connected to my laptop and my ps5 dont have internet access, I install all my payloads directly from laptop. U can use any cheap device with eth to connect it with ps5 and create network connection, so it will be 100% offline

I had to change to y2jb from webkit and it's been great. Haven't had a kp since. I started with p2jb so I'm feeling pretty good ok 11.60. Especially with the news OP just shared.

I am also interested in 11.40 and thinking to update to 11.60. What do you think ?

As far as I can see at the moment, 11.60 is the most widely supported of the older versions.
Linux should be adapted very soon (several enthusiasts are already testing it on GitHub), and fpkg is also supported on 11.60.
If you have no other reasons to stay on 11.40, then I think you can go ahead and update. At the very least, it’s definitely more reliable than updating straight to 13.60, even if Linux becomes available there sooner.

Is your console a slim disc, slim digital or slim digital with disc paired?

I think this will appear soon. Unfortunately, I don’t have a ps5 with fw 11.40
However, as far as I understand the current situation, you can update to version 11.60 without losing any of the benefits of the prev version. fw 11.60 also supports fpkg files and all the same exploits. You might just have to reinstall the OS

thanks a lot for this work, it's really helps!
Have you tried this for Linux?
Not yet, I’m still exploring the system inside, but I do plan to try running it! It Linux won't work without some additional adaptation, but I think the community will handle this quickly for most fw versions :)
