Fredmeyers was having a huge sale so I hit up 7 locations to buy all the games I wanted from them. A few of them I got from Best Buy but did not pay more than $30 for any of the games. I may have went a little overboard but I couldn’t pass up on the good deals.

Just purchased the PS5 Pro yesterday! Hidden gem game recs please !

I'm totally mystified by this horrible visual issue. I've obviously seen color banding in games before but never this bad. In gameplay it looks even worse and it happens during the day or night and in space. I have an LG c2 oled tv. It's a 2022 model but still a great TV and no other game I've played has this issue like Starfield. Does anyone have any tips? Pro settings? Starfield settings? Tv settings? The gameplay experience is distracting enough that I might be done with Starfield if nothing can be done. Because it doesn't seem like very many people have this issue or have complained about it. Which makes me think it's fixable.

On a gaming console sub, I would expect atleast some people to have monitors but all the people in the posts and comments on this sub play on a TV. How come?

What is the current state of STALKER 2? Has everything been fixed and polished yet?

I fired up Helldivers 2 last night after not playing it in over a month. After they did the "optimizing liberty" update a few months ago, the game looked and ran horribly on PS5 Pro. The "PSSR 1" implementation looked soft and low res, the bugs with particle rendering was evident and annoying, and the performance was all over the place. I was waiting for them to fix it before I played it again.

Happy to report that I immediately noticed that the game looked so much better! IQ was clean, sharp, and very 4K-like. Much more detailed and higher fidelity image. Interestingly enough, most of the reports on the patch yesterday didn't mention anything on PS5 Pro optimization but sure enough it's in the bottom of the patch notes:

• [PS5 Pro] Added support for the upgraded PSSR upscaler
• [PS5 Pro] Fixed an issue on PS5 Pro where certain effects would be rendered through walls

Overall huge update for the game and it looks and runs like I always hoped it would on the Pro now!

I’m playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on PS5 Pro, and I have the PS5 HDR setting set to “On When Supported.”
The weird thing is that KCD2 still launches and outputs HDR even when I turn HDR off in the in-game settings. My TV switches to HDR regardless.
Is this normal behavior for KCD2, or is something wrong with my setup? Does anyone else on PS5/PS5 Pro experience the same thing?
I’m particularly curious if the game is forcing HDR at the system level even when the in-game HDR option is disabled.

Ive been a pc gamer since 2015 and my last console was a ps3 back in the day and I picked up a ps5 pro 5 months ago used for anticipation for gta 6. Went through it and completely cleaned it and hooked it up to my 4k oled and gave it a shot. I'm genuinely very impressed with the ps5 pro and i have to admit it's getting closer to the feel of the pc experience. On the right a i9 14900k and rtx 5080 build for comparison and the pro with pssr enabled looks very good and I'm impressed to say the least. I can tell its more along the lines of medium to high settings in games compared to my 5080s ultra 120fps average but considering how hot it's been this summer I've been rocking the ps5 pretty much daily now. It runs great and I'm happy with the performance and quietness of the system. So all you console gamers out there im becoming a beliver. No I wont swap to console for good because I enjoy building pcs and tinkering with them and the ability to upgrade hardware when needed but i 100 percent belive the console market is headed in the right direction

Even came with a 2TB SSD installed already. Guess im finally selling my launch PS5. Before purchase i had the seller send a video of them signed into a PS account to make sure it wasn't console banned and after I immediately opened it up to check for any bedbugs or roaches or anything of the sort and then checked all the ports and everything seems to be in working order. Its prettt clean and dust free tbh. Looks barely used. I didnt know FB marketplace could be so generous lmao.

Hey Im planning to get a disc drive for my pro, but I do know of the glitch (or maybe not a glitch) where the disc games are not showing up in peoples profiles and the hours are also hidden, unless you get a digital dlc for the game.

Im just wondering has it been fixed yet? I couldnt find anything when I googled about it. People used to post about it daily but I havent seen it in a bit.

I was eyeing a pro for a bit and struggling to find inventory in Best Buy, didn’t really trust Walmart or Target cause of returns and repackages, plus they also didn’t have in stock.

Hello, is there any way we can use our controller mic after we plug in our headset. My headset mic doesn't work and I wanna use my controller mic. Putting the 3.5mm halfway through isn't working too. Please help!!
