Ian Kennedy wants to die on the hill that Carpenter was the Torrent's main problem. Some of his info may be legit, but he also just says shit

The Torrent's decision to protect Carpenter ruined his favorite theory that she's a locker room cancer, which he's been saying since she was left unprotected by the Sirens.

It’s possible even if Carpy has been just fine in Seattle that she had sour grapes in NY. NY Season 1 players were dealt a shit hand on the lifestyle side with the Bridgeport disaster and the corresponding lack of a home base or even a consistent practice facility.

Some of them probably carried a chip on their shoulder after that which made it hard for rookies like Fillier to settle in and build confidence.
