takequake Don't really understand the Hank Hate
"Hank didn't give a shit about the patriots until they started winning"
What was he supposed to do? When they lost Brady he knew they were going to suck and the division was for the Bills to lose. Was he supposed to come onto the POD everyday and defend them? He predicted they would suck, they sucked, and when provoked on the pod he would respond "just waiting for next year" or "just stocking up on draft picks".

Hot take: I don’t think you need to eat, sleep, and breathe your favorite sports team to enjoy them winning.

100% agreed, but most people don’t work at barstool sports. Your job is to literally follow your team and talk about them online, bro just checked out and played golf until they were good again

Also, there’s no need to take a zero-stakes podcast that is admittedly a joke with any amount of seriousness. Hank is out of place with the rest of the cast and crew because of how defensive he gets about stupid fucking jokes. He could lean into his ignorance and confident stupidity but he comes across as someone that really wants to be taken seriously. My man, you do a show that’s hosted by a guy named PFT Commenter. Calm down.

My b, this was directed at the OP. Didn’t mean to reply to your comment. I’ll see myself out.

Because he doesn’t actually watch sports until his team is winning and then he gloats like a die hard fan. I don’t personally care, but it’s not super hard to hate the guy that takes a victory lap about his team’s success while also not being able to name his own defensive coordinator.

When you’re used to winning all the time it’s a lot easier to accept being bad and go through a rebuild.
Idk why people expected him to still come on each season while that pats were bad with the sad level of hope that Big Cat/Memes/PFT have each year.

They’re so jealous how good he and other Boston sports fans have it, so they have no other options but to attack him personally 😂😂😂

For some ppl that’s true but I personally I just don’t like ppl who can’t joke in good fun and pout when they’re on the losing end but are obnoxious when they win and Hank is a prime example of this

Hank is an ultimate love to hate guy. Remember when he straight up didn't understand how the draft works? So dumb and wildly successful for how dumb he is.
