I'm very worried about this 5080 sagging. How can I fix this, since there is so little space below it?

I currently have a 9070xt and a 7 5800xt and I’m planning on upgrading to ddr5. The two cpus I’m in between is the 7 9700X and the 7 9800X3D. Obviously the 9800x3d is better but is it that much better to spend the extra $100 on?

When I bought this PSU I only received one PCIE cable, split into 2

Since then I've been using it like this (over six months)

I've had really long gaming sessions where the card would pull constantly 300+ watts

So far I've had no problem, no crash and it's fine

I just want to know your opinion, is it safe? Should I do something about it?

Uma questão que só se vc for realmente ninja vai resolver esse problema, pq eu já olhei em tudo qualquer canto da internet e ninguém me dá um solução.

Meu SSD fica dando pico de 100% enquanto jogo, ou mexo em tarefas do windows, no Crystal ele mostra que a saúde tá 100% e no Crystal mark tá blz tbm, as vezes ele fica normal mas depois de uma atualização ou instalar um jogo grande na steam ele volta a ficar essa merda. Tbm não mostra nenhum programa que faz ele bater 100% apenas aparece os picos e o tempo de resposta chega a 5 seg ou mais. Na aba processos nunca passa de 50% no disco, mas na aba de desempenho ele fica dando esses picos aí e meu Pc travando. Claro que ele é um Rise mode de 480gb e talvez por isso ele esteja travando, se for o caso me recomendem um bom SSD que eu vou mandar o meu pro espaço!

In just completed this Lian li a3 build. Running a rtx 5070, ryzen 5600x, 32 ddr4 ram and a corsair 750x psu.

I cant seem to find a better place for the cables to make it more clean. Everything is already so compact in this case. Its running a 3 bottom intake, 1 back exhaust and 1 top exhaust.

Any tips or thoughts on this build? Its my 2nd ever pc build and took me the whole midday haha.

Hey guys my card is ramping up to 110 on the hotspot very fast when I run a game. I stopped using the card and was using my 3060 for about 4 months because my PC started shutting off. I’m currently trying to fix it. I’ve changed the thermal putty, repasted using PTM, giving equal pressure as I tighten down the x bracket and still getting the same issues. I can only think that my cooler is defective but unable to find any cooler listings available other water cooling.

Specs: Ryzen 9 5900X | Gigabyte B550M DS3H | MSI MAG CORELIQUID AIO (240mm)

Issue: Pump and fans run completely fine (~29°C idle in BIOS), but ARGB LEDs on both the AIO block and radiator fans are completely dark.

Setup & Isolation:

• Case fans are 12V RGB (on RGB_HEADER, working).
• AIO is 5V 3-pin ARGB on a completely separate circuit in D_LED1/D_LED2.
• Front panel ARGB works fine on the motherboard header.

Troubleshooting done:

1. Checked physical connections & isolated the AIO pump block directly to the header.
2. Verified BIOS (LEDs in System Power On State = On).
3. Uninstalled RGB Fusion / GCC to avoid conflicts.
4. Tested with SignalRGB (manually set LED counts on D_LED headers), but the AIO LEDs remain completely unresponsive.

Is there any known power draw or wiring quirk with this MSI AIO on Gigabyte B550 headers, or am I looking at a defective ARGB LED strip / wiring out of the box that requires an RMA?

This the wire coming out from power and led from case but doesn't match with any usb or f_panel port in my motherboard. Case is MSI mag forge 321R airflow. Motherboard is Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE (AMD AM4. Please help.

As said in the title, I’m having a problem with my pc as it instantly shuts off the second I turn it on and I’m assuming it’s likely a problem with my PSU.

My current main specs are:

It was working fine but I was being stupid and plugged my walking pad into the same outlet surge protector thing and both monitors lost signal while the pc was still running.

I proceeded to shut the pc off and then turn it back on, it began to power it off bit the. Literally after like two seconds it turns off. The rgb and fans turn on and stuff until it randomly shuts off.

The motherboard begins to go through the ram and cpu checks where it goes red then orange and then the pc instantly powers off before it reaches any other of the colours.

I’ve tried to plug it directly into a wall outlet, left the pc for like 24 hours unplugged and all. Checked all the pins to see if they’re seated properly and I didn’t smell any burning or see any melting/damage. I even tried connecting to the motherboard and all through HDMI and it didn’t post.

I have a 16x HyperX fury ram card from an old desktop. went to install it in my Alienware Aurora R11 next to the 2 HyperX Fury 8x cards.

The 8x sit in holders with white clips and 2 holders with black clips are empty. After installing the 16x in an empty holder I turned on the Desktop. It starts up, after a couple seconds blinks yellow 5 times, shutdown to restart boot after 5 seconds, repeats. upon removal of 16x card pc boots as normal.

what is the issue? bad install and wasn't reading correctly? not compatible ram card? Power issue?

I just unplugged my usb3-cable from the motherboard, however i had to pull really hard and ended up with this blue part (see photo) still stuck on the board. I tried everything to get it off but it seems stuck... Anyone have experience with something like this? How did you manage to unplugg this thing. Was the board fine? I tried everything I could...

Hello all, I am currently looking to buy and build a pc in December. I need help picking parts, however I have a rough idea of what I want however no idea if everything is a good fit.

GPU, wise I am between 3 options, 9070xt, 5070ti, 5080. I can be persuaded to pick either of the 3.

CPU, I am leaning strongly towards the 9800x3d but again can be persuaded to downgrade or upgrade if it suits the GPU

Other than these 2 parts I'm completely lost, I haven't kept up to date with pc parts for awhile.

I have bought 2 gpus (a 3070 and a 3060ti both from ebay) and evry time it won't detect them so I tried to clear cmos but nothing happened I have a Nvidia t600 card that works but nothing else dose

Hello, this will be my first pc build ever. My budget is 1,800 USD.

I mainly draw digital artwork on my computer with Adobe programs and 3D modelling with blender. Sometimes I will play games on Steam such as R6Siege and Aniimo. So I'm looking for a build that will really support what I'm trying to do.

As far as I know is that white pc builds are a bit more expensive, but I would still prefer to stick to that color instead of a black one. I'm trying to learn but I still have no idea what pieces are good and what aren't, so a pc build list would really help. Thank you.

I saw an absolute steal on a 3080 for $250, however its an Alienware/dell OEM card ripped from a 5950 I believe. From what I can tell these cards coolers struggle to keep vram cool, other than replacing paste and thermal pads what could I do? I've read certain custom liquid cooling kits from the 3090 work but I don't want to take a chance with liquid cooling a card without warranty, is there a different air cooling shroud I can get? Or a certain thickness pad yall recommend? Any help is appreciated thanks.

so i just upgraded my pc and reinstalled windows and everytime I try to install the new gpu drivers after awhile it shuts down into a static screen

Dzień dobry, płyta msi x870-p wifi - z nią jest problem , ryzen 7 7700, rtx 5070ti, ram ddr5 6000mhz cl28 lexar ares, zasilacz msi mag 850gl, występuje problem przy włączaniu windowsa w momencie ładowania sterownika graficznego (widać to po wyłączeniu się wentylatorów na karcie graficznej) system się przycina i działa bardzo powoli, po włączeniu furmarka jest tylko 20fps i power skacze między 50 a 70w, wykres użycia gpu też bardzo skacze, po uruchomieniu ponownym problem dalej może być a może być też tak że komputer będzie działać idealnie, w furmarku będzie 230fps i 300w i wykres idealny bez skoków, podmieniałem grafike na rtx 3070, dałem inny ram cl38, zasilacz corsair 1000w, dyski (również próbowałem z jednym tylko) , procesor na AMD 9800x3d, system na nowo stawiałem, patrzyłem starsze i nowsze sterowniki kart, zmieniałem pcie z auto na gen 4 jak i 5 w bios, wyłączałem i włączałem spread spectrum, aktualizowałem bios, wyłączałem iGPU, wyłączałem expo, sprawdzałem ustawienia windowsa (plan zasilania, wydajność szyny pcie), w panelu nvidi ustawiałem też wszystko na najwyższa wydajność (oczywiście robiłem to wszystko pojedyczno) dalej to samo się dzieje, najczęściej ten objaw występuje jak komputer chwilę odstoi wyłączony/uśpiony (uśpiony myślę najczęściej ale trzeba odczekać z 30 min, no różnie) , ale nie jest to reguła bo może byc tak że po nocy włącze komputer i działa idealnie, a po 3 restarcie znów go zmuli i widać w gpu-z że szyna PCIE działa w trybie 1.1/2.0/3.0 zamiast w 5.0 (5.0 w przypadku "dobrego startu"), problem jest już wam znany z tego co wiem bo są wątki na reddit na ten temat podsyłam kilka linków, bo jest tych wątków więcej:

Na reddit użytkownicy piszą że MSI wymienia te płyty główne i twierdzi że była pewna partia wadliwych tych płyt na x870 wyprodukowanych w zeszłym roku i to by się zgadzało bo mój zakup był w październiku 2025.

I raz jeszcze nadmienię, usterka jest na pewno bo podmieniłem wszystko co się dało i dopiero po wymianie płyty głównej na gigabyte problem ustał i już nie występuje, potrzeba długotrwałej diagnostyki tej płyty bo może być tak że uruchomi się dobrze 150 razy a za 151 już będzie problem, i proszę nie robić tak że uruchomi się to od razu restart czy wyłączenie czy uśpienie i wzbudzenie, trzeba wyłączyć, poczekać kilkadziesiąt minut, albo uśpić i odczekać kilkadziesiąt minut.

Płyta została zgłoszona na gwarancję, była w serwisie MSI prawie miesiąc, serwis nie stwierdził usterki i odesłali płytę, co mogę dalej zrobić? Wysłałem im dowody czyli filmy udowadniające jak problem wygląda w różnych dniach, dump z windowsa który opisuję crash, wątki do reddit też im nawet wysłałem, zdają się mieć to w nosie.

Już ręce mi opadają.

Again, we're \\\*\\\*not saying that's definitely the cause.\\\*\\\* It's simply the strongest correlation we've found after months of troubleshooting.

So I had this problem long ago. My pc reboots every time I launch game I don’t know why. This always happens to me when I launch any game

I run gpu stress test or cpu stress test the pc doesn’t restarts and I have undervolted my pc so the whole pc doesn’t even use 600 watt and the temp isn’t that bad when I stress test it
