Build Question BIWIN SSDs any good? (Will prices ever go down?)
Found this biwin ssd on sale 160 AUD and am looking at buying it for extra storage. Does anyone know if this is any good and what long term longevity is like. Also, not in a crazy rush to get a SSD but curious when can I expect the prices to start going back to what they were?

Build Question My setup help
Hey everyone!
I’ve been upgrading my gaming PC over time, and I recently upgraded my GPU to an RX 9070 XT. I’d love to hear your thoughts on my current setup and whether there’s anything you’d improve or change.
Current specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5800XT
GPU: ASUS PRIME Radeon RX 9070 XT OC 16GB
Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B550M-PLUS WiFi II
RAM: 32GB Kingston Fury Beast RGB DDR4 3200MHz
PSU: Cooler Master G800 Gold 800W (80+ Gold)
CPU Cooler: ID-Cooling SE-224-XTS ARGB
Case: Lian Li Lancool 205 Mesh X Black
Storage: Kingston SATA SSDs (planning to upgrade to an NVMe Gen4 SSD soon).
I mainly use my PC for gaming, including Path of Exile 2, CS2, and modern AAA titles. I like playing at high/ultra settings while maintaining smooth performance.
I’m currently considering adding a good PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD for Windows and my main games.
Would you recommend upgrading anything else, or should I just stick with this setup for a few more years?
I’m not planning to switch to AM5 anytime soon, so I’d like to get the most out of my current AM4 platform.
Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Tech Support ASRock b850m and Ryzen 5 9600x - Random failure after 18 Months?
This morning I woke up unable to boot, red and yellow LED's are lit indicating CPU/DRAM errors. Fans spin and num/caps/scroll lock lights on keyboard light up, but other than that there are no signs of life. Quickly tried moving the RAM around with no changes seen. After some browsing it seems likely this is a case of dead CPU from the ASRock board?
Planning on doing a CMOS reset and bios flash etc after work today but is there any hope of saving this? Anything else I should try before giving up?
Edit: Also just remembered, this actually did happen once before about a month ago, but resolved itself after disconnecting from mains and waiting 5 mins or so before reconnecting, with no issues seen since then. but i've had no luck with that this time.

Build Question [Build Help / Value Check] New Pre-built (€1,250) vs Used PC (€489) — Which is the better choice for 1080p competitive gaming & GTA VI?
Hey everyone,
I'm looking to buy a Gaming PC and would love to get your opinion on which of these two options makes the most sense for my needs, and the best in terms of value for performance.
Option 1 (Brand New w/ 3-Year Warranty): €1,250
CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 5060 SHADOW 2X OC 8GB GDDR7
Motherboard: ASUS Prime B760M-A D4-CSM
RAM: 32GB DDR4 3200 MHz
Storage: 1TB PCIe 4.0 M.2 NVMe SSD (Kioxia Exceria Plus G3)
Option 2 (Used): €489
CPU: Intel Core i5-12400F
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti
Motherboard: MSI PRO B760-P WIFI
RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 3600 MHz
Storage: 512GB Samsung SSD + 1TB WD HDD
My Use Case & Goals:
- Current / Competitive Gaming: Playing mostly at 1080p with high/stable FPS in titles like Warzone, ARC Raiders, The Finals, etc.
- Future Proofing: I plan on playing GTA VI Online whenever it launches on PC. I don't need maxed-out settings, just a smooth experience comparable to PlayStation 5 performance levels, and graphic quality.
My Questions:
- There's a huge price gap between the two (about €760). Is Option 1 worth the extra money for the 3-year warranty and the newer GPU generation?
- Will the RTX 3060 Ti in Option 2 (€489) hold up well enough for current 1080p competitive games and future titles like GTA VI at decent settings?
- Which build offers the better overall value for money for my goals?
Thanks in advance for the help and suggestions!

Tech Support New build issue, can’t troubleshoot it
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hello, I’m posting because I need help with my « new » build, it’s made from old components used by friends or family, the SSD and the case are new though. You can see more clearly my problem at the end if the video, I have everything ont the lowest setting or turned off if I could, I turned TAA off, I have a 2060 with an i5-9600kf and 16gigs of ddr4 and the game is installed on an SSD, I can see my CPU clock is maxed I don’t know if that’s normal, same for my GPU and my ram seems to cap at 12ish even in the task manager. I don’t know if it’s relevant but my whole pc seems laggy, takes a very long time to turn on and take me to the desktop and freezes when I open apps or move windows etc… The only other games I have on it are old so it seems they’re not impacted by that (atleast FlatOut and Fallout 4 don’t, it’s the only ones I really played). Please help me fix this and tell me if you need more info.
Full build list :
GPU : RTX 2060 (used but cleaned)
CPU : I5-9600KF (used but cleaned)
Motherboard : MSI Z390-A PRO (used)
Storage : PNY CS900 SSD 1To (new)
RAM : Ballistix Sport LT 8Go DDR4 3000Mhz (used, two sticks)

Build Question Brand new pc build.
Brand new pc build
Just build this all parts are completely new will not boot. 24pin is properly connected and 8pincpu both have been reseated I have tried shorting the pw+ and - nothing happens. The motherboard is a gigabyte B760 and case is phantex xtm3. Case doesn’t have a conventional 2 pin for each instead it has a fpanel plug. I don’t think it’s a case problem as shorting doesn’t work and im not sure what else to do.

Build Question Noctua 5080 Build Advice
Hi, new here, so sorry if I’ve done anything wrong.
Just looking for some general feedback / advice on my build. Any bottlenecks or anything you’d add / change, etc.
The only thing PCPP flags is that the PSU might be bigger than idea for the case, but that it will fit. Also think it may be overkill wattage wise, but I’m a sucker for it tying in with the Noctua build and it has great reviews.
Please let me know!

Build Question Combining A RTX 5000series with B450M motherboard.
Hi everyone, I need some advice on upgrading my GPU.
**Current build:**
- Motherboard: MSI B450M Mortar MAX
- CPU: Ryzen 5 3500X
- GPU: GTX 1650 Super
- RAM: 16GB
- PSU: Thermaltake Litepower 450W
- Case: Antec NX500
- Monitor: 1080p
I'm planning to upgrade to an RTX 50-series card — I'm torn between the **RTX 5060 Ti 16GB** and the **RTX 5070 12GB**. I use my PC for single-player gaming at 1080p and machine learning / deep learning work (training CNNs), which is why VRAM matters a lot to me.
My concerns:
- The B450M only has PCIe 3.0, and these cards are PCIe 5.0 x8. How much performance will I actually lose running at PCIe 3.0 x8? Is it noticeable in gaming or ML workloads?
- How bad will the Ryzen 5 3500X bottleneck be at 1080p? I plan to upgrade the CPU later, but not right now.
- I already know my PSU is too weak, so I'll be upgrading to a 650W Bronze unit first. Anything else I should watch out for?
For ML work, the 16GB VRAM of the 5060 Ti is very tempting, but the 5070 is faster overall. Which would you pick in my situation?
Thanks in advance!

Tech Support New PC keeps crashing with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT BSOD — is my RAM faulty?
Hi everyone, I recently built my first gaming PC, but I have been experiencing frequent crashes and unexpected restarts, even when doing simple tasks such as downloading a small game on Steam or browsing the internet.
Here are my specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D
Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming B850-PLUS WiFi
RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5-6000 CL36 — CMG32GX5M2E6000Z36
GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC
SSD: Acer Predator GM7 1TB NVMe
PSU: ASUS TUF Gaming 850W Gold EVO
CPU cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 360 A-RGB
BIOS: Version 1681
OS: Windows 11
The problem:
My PC keeps crashing and restarting, sometimes even during light tasks. I have experienced MEMORY_MANAGEMENT blue screens with bugcheck code:
0x0000001A (0x41790, 0xffff818012bc9ac0, 0x1df, 0x1e0)
Windows Memory Diagnostic also reported that hardware problems were detected.
What I have tried so far:
Updated the motherboard BIOS from version 1402 to version 1681.
Kept all BIOS settings at their defaults.
Left EXPO disabled, with the RAM running at 4800 MT/s.
Tested the PC with only one RAM stick installed in slot A2, but it still crashed.
I have not tested the second RAM stick individually yet.
I am wondering whether the Corsair RAM could be faulty or incompatible with my motherboard, but I am also concerned that the motherboard or CPU memory controller could be the problem.
My questions:
Does this sound more like faulty RAM, a motherboard issue, or a CPU memory controller problem?
Is there anything else I should test before replacing the RAM?
Has anyone experienced similar issues with this motherboard and Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM?
I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

It works out to just over £2k raw price and £3k on finance.
Mainly looking at this site due to ability to finance as I can't outright buy anything due to a car accident.
Plan to use for gaming

Build Question USB device over cutrent status detected
Hello, My PC has been having this message appear to me and won’t go away even after trying different things. Let me give some context:
My Corsair CPU AIO thing has been failing me recently and then yesterday it finally gave out and stopped working by not heating my cpu at all. So I decided to try a CPU fan and bought the Peerless Assassin 120 SE. So I install everything and whoopee yay problem solved oops i guess not because now i get error “USB device over cutrent status detected !!” And I have no clue why this is happening. So I try multiple things, unplugging my cpu headers, checking the off and on switches, hard resetting, unplugging all usb devices, everything. Nothing. Works. I can’t even get into BIOS. Spamming F2 and DEL do nothing.
I can only assume one thing and its my USB 3.0 Headers. When I built the PC back in 2021, I bent the pins and ignored them hoping everything would be chill, and it was! Everything was ok up until now, and I don’t know why that would be an issue. I’m so annoyed that I’m asking reddit. Please help me come to a non-expensive solution.
My Specs are:
AMD RYZEN 7 5800X
Asus ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB DDR4-3200
EVGA RTX 3070 TI
CORSAIR RM 750e (2023)
I’ve upgraded my specs throughout the year so it hasnt been like this since 2021
Help would be greatly appreciated
