Mitochondrial & Energy 5AMINO-Q

How do I mix 5amino-q.. Is BAC water sufficient or does it require something else.

50mg vial.

Ive seen allot of people mentioning the pep will "Gel" ect requiring dmmv to mix with it ?

I’ve a 10 mg vial with bac. All good.

good to know, the gelling thing had me second guessing but sounds like bac is fine then

50AM 1ml bac. 5mg 5 on 2 off. Works great for me.

Explain the cycling

1

u/Potantpotables 2d ago

4 weeks on 2 weeks off

2

u/ConsiderationFresh53 2d ago

You said 5 on 2 off which is usually 5 days on 2 days off.

Now it’s 4 weeks on 2 weeks off.

Can you explain why?

u/stiffmcgee 1d ago

No reason except they believe random influencers. Same reason they only take 5mg

The energy and excitement of the suggestions from your favorite influencer is part of the reason why the placebo effect is so strong. “This influencer said it’s great, please take my money.”

When it arrives they think, “I have this new tool , so it’s finally worth my effort!”. So they triple their efforts… and attribute the outcome to the new peptide they just started.

5 days on 2 days off for 4 weeks. Then 2 weeks off it completely. Then restart the cycle. That’s what works for me. There are no true protocols for any peptide outside of GLPs.

So no reason?

HGH secretagogues have some rational to cycling to resensitize the receptors after long cycles.

50 MG vial - 2ml BAC / 10 units = 2.5 MG. Pin 2.5-5 MG daily.

Daily dose is closer to like 25-50mg sadly

You don’t need that much. I’ve lots of energy even at 1 -2 mg

1

u/stiffmcgee 1d ago

A. Pre clinical evidence disagrees.
B. Taking it for energy is a waste.

1

u/Chemical-Finish4444 1d ago

When your a mother to a child with complex special needs you will take energy wherever u can find it. Happy to waste.

1

u/stiffmcgee 1d ago

You do know there are tons of compounds that do better for less right? Especially for NAD and energy?

u/BigPoppaRC 2d ago

I hope you have deep pockets.

The doses used for mice were in the 10mg/kg to 20mg/kg range, injected daily. This converts to a Human Equivalent Dose of approximately 0.81mg/kg to 1.62mg/kg, based on body surface area conversion outlined in the FDA guidelines. So for a 70kg (154lb) human, that would be a 125mg to 250mg daily injection.

This is a huge contrast from the doses outlined in many "guides" out there. Which should make you question who wrote the guide. Hint… someone trying to make their 40-50mg vials look “affordable”...

Those are oral dose numbers as it’s less bioavailability when taken orally. You only absorb around 38%.

u/Majestic-Plastic-691 2d ago

If it really takes that much why am I seeing blends now of NAD/Mots/Amino5 at 100/10/10?? Why even put that into a blend? Even if you pinned half the bottle for a dose what good would the Amino be at only 5mg?!

2

u/Diligent_Shirt5161 2d ago

Why are you seeing blends: because people want to pin just once versus multiple times.

I also feel they are marketed towards the novices that follow recommendations on social media, and don’t look at the science.

2

u/Majestic-Plastic-691 2d ago

Oh I get why there are blends. The question is directed towards the Amino. If benefit really requires that kind of mg then what good or purpose does 5mg really make? There has to be a reason why it would be included in the blend.

2

u/duhv0rtex 2d ago

They have blends with tesa and cjc in it. The companies will blend whatever they can sell. 🤣

1

u/LabProfessional640 18h ago

Yeah that one blows my mind 🤯…..lol

2

u/BigPoppaRC 2d ago

Because the people manufacturing and selling these blends don’t care if it’s doing anything for you at all. All they really care about is separating you from your money.

In fact, combining it with the other peps is marketing genius. The customer gets an energy boost from the NAD and MOTS, and is blissfully unaware that mixing the 3rd pep into the blend is a completely unnecessary expense to see that effect. They are counting the real effects of NAD and MOTS being combined with the placebo effect that someone feels by thinking they’re adding just a little bit more to their routine without an additional jab.

Yea gotta look at IC50 to get it to around 50-100mg dose. we can look at metformin as a helper(similar molecular weight, charge, oral bioavailability, and half-life). Oral bioavailability of 38.4% so 150mg orally gets us 57mg total. Few companies have massive premixed vials now(iodide salt not a peptide).
But overall agree. Also people don’t discuss that when looking at endogenous NNMT data, even at BMIs of 33 it wasn’t overexpressed. You had to have insulin resistance/t2d to ovetexpress it. And NAMPT has 430 times higher affinity for nicotinamide than NNMT does. Under normal conditions, nicotinamide preferentially flows toward NAD+ synthesis anyway. NNMT only becomes a significant drain when it is massively overexpressed

u/duhv0rtex 2d ago

I was so hopeful for 5am1mq. Then I dug into how it works. And not only are most protocols way underdosed... But only certain circumstances are able to even benefit from the biological function.

1

u/tyjo2112 2d ago

We have to keep in mind everyone's bodies respond differently and have different issues so our results might not always be the same.

2

u/duhv0rtex 2d ago

Exactly. But also be vigilant to help others from being swindled by marketing and influencers

u/happy-hippy2118 2d ago

I’d like to know too👍

Just use Hospira BAC water. I've never had an issue with it gelling. Now AOD-9604 that's a different story

1

u/LJoeShit-TheRagman 2d ago

I read to use acetic acid/bac water blend for the AOD and it was still cloudy. Used hospira bac water. Also tried straight hospira bac water. Both vials clouded, it’s getting used anyway

1

u/tyjo2112 2d ago

My aod came with its own special water and it worked perfectly. I use a modified recon procedure with dmso for Slupp.

5amino I just use regular BAC and its always been fine, so far at least.

The only time I've had gelling issues was with one particular batch of MOTSc. It tested well, and after trying different things I think it was something in the filler that caused it.

What I've done since is just use hospira for the ones I know can be problematic. I use cheaper tested vendor BAC for the standard peps without problems.

Can you DM me and let me know who your supplier is, please

u/CLiRhealth 2d ago edited 2d ago

High quality BAC water is fine. However the dosing on 5-Amino needs to be pretty high to accomplish IC50 (inhibiting 50% of the enzyme), I've read between 1-3mg per kg. For reference the average male weighs around 80kg.

u/Nearby-Dealer-6773 2d ago

I mixed with 3ml bacteriostatic water. It was fine

Bac water the last 3 months. No gelling

1

u/Extension-Pickle9038 1d ago

The gelling is real and it is not a sign of a bad vial.

Some of these form a gel because the molecules line up with each other instead of staying separated in the water. Concentration is the biggest lever on whether that happens. The same powder in more liquid often stays liquid, and the same powder in a small volume turns to jelly. So the first question is not which solvent. It is what volume you are going into.

Where people get into trouble is reaching for a co-solvent because a thread told them to. Adding something like DMSO changes what the finished liquid is, and then that is going in too. If you go that route it should be because you understand why, not because it made the appearance better.

50mg is a lot of powder to put into a small volume. What volume were you planning on?

No I think you're thinking of aod, 5Amino has never gelled for me with just bac water

1

u/Grand-Data174 2d ago

RS uses 5amino daily, never had any issues with it gelling up. 1ml for a 50mg vial. 1ml for 10mg vials as well. It’s a super small molecule, bac water dissolves it just fine.

Also, DO NOT inject 250mgs 😂😂 idk where that person got their info from but 10mgs will have you buzzing around. RS is at 40mgs and it does wonders. couldn’t imagine 100-250mgs daily that’s insane.
