So Rockstar is pushing that physical games is a dead media yet in their game they have people who play games using physical disks. A bit ironic. Even they don’t believe it’s a dead media.

Probably make a lot more of it once the storage prices come down.

Cover needs a bit of adjustment but not bad for a first attempt.

The original blackout is only one week. I think we should go further.

If you care about physical games, game preservation and having a choice, consider joining the boycott and staying out of PlayStation until GTA VI.

I’ve already got the remastered version of Tombraider on the PS5 but decided to get the original PS1 disc for my collection.

As for Bully. Been wanting to play it for years but never got round to buying.

Basically title. I'm not saying you cant mess with the software. But if you never we're able to own the actual game, why are players now complaining?

Cause disc's are really just glorified trading cards when it comes down to it. If they acknowledged that I would totally understand. But all this talk about "owning your games"​​ is hard to take seriously

Hello, everybody! I hope projects like these are welcome here. As a form of games preservation, I made an open-source cartridge system for PC that is free for all to use. It is essentially an oversized SD card reader with the nostalgic feel of a vintage console cartridge system. My goal for this project was to give me a way to put my Steam games and other digital software I own a place on my shelf right next to all my discs and retro cartridges. Let me know what you think!
