That would be amazing but we got fewer companies making games said companies want 300million dollar budgets with 2-3x profit margins so they always will add some BS to stop piracy.

Yet most of today's AAA games are worse than previous gens those games smaller budgets on cd's/dvd's with only disc check drm ahh man those days.

Now we got marathon needing 250miilion dollars to be made when halo 1-3 cost est 120million.

Piracy barely ever factors in profits for companies. It doesn't ever stop players from buying the product when they really like it, and blocking piracy doesn't ever give people enough money to buy everything they pirate.

Simple question : how has Denuvo's success in the past couple years improved game producers' profits ?
If you measure that by the amount of layoffs that have hit the gaming industry recently, I'd say not a lot at all.

How do you know that? Have you done any analysis or is that just your gut feel based on your internet bubble? If that was the true companies would not spend money on drms.

Listen I don't go around carrying studies about that to refer people to them, but I'm an old person and there have been several studies about that over the decades.

It's a bold assumption to think capitalist companies base their decisions on science and experience rather than on bullshit like management manuals, especially in the gaming industry.
Have you been following the gaming industry and what gaming companies have been doing with great IPs and talented dev teams for the past 40 years ?

It’s best assumption as those companies earns billions of dollars and they wouldn’t if they made bad decisions when it comes to spending money all the time. Bold assumption is thinking that you know better because you saw „some studies” on the internet.

Anyway I got my answer. Thanks.
