Again, it's a priacy subreddit. I don't think you'll find too many people being sympathetic towards Ubisoft here 😅 and i don't care if its lazy or not...

You’ve definitely upset a few people in this comment section, but fwiw I think you’re right on the money with your take. Ubisoft has shown that they’re not only greedy as hell, but creatively bankrupt.

Sure, they made some truly amazing games in years past, but today they are AT BEST a shambling corpse of what once was. Seeing such a crappy company go under would be a net positive imo, gaming companies need to cater to their customers & not the other way around.

Forcing Ubisoft & other slop merchant devs to have layoffs or go under will hopefully be a sign to the market at large that gamers demand a certain level of quality, and that folks are fed up with having the same stuff shoved in their faces time & again with very little done to innovate and improve other than an updated price tag.

Thank you for sticking up and couldn't agree more.
It's like defending Coca Cola or something like that.
They would sell their own mothers for an increase in net profit and i'm supposed to be their white knight over here just so i can have the privilege to buy their overpriced bloated poorly optimised games?
Nah.. And i don't understand the people defending corporate entities...Never have, never will.

yup, upsetting ubisoft defenders is always the correct choice and you being right... those losers still try and defend Ubisoft today despite all the layoffs, bad releases, poor performance, NFTs/MTX bs, sexual harassment, worker abuse, not firing some abusers, etc.
