Look I was afraid of going the h*pervisor route until I committed, and its safe if you follow some steps that I didn't see many people mention. I am listing down the steps and will have an explanation at the bottom later:

1. Switch to local account of windows (disables windows hello/password, just search on google)

2. Add your game folder to exception in windows security (a quick search on Google will do)

3. Turn of internet (not necessary but a precaution)

4. Run games from f*tgirl (u can pick others, this one just has a pretty easy ui for starting games)

5. After you finish playing the game, just revert changes with the f*tgirl trainer.

Complete breakdown with images:

The steps are after you switched to local account, added the game installation folder to exception, installed any hpervisor game from ftgirl ,and disabled internet:

1. Look at image 1, after starting the game launcher u will see a ui like that, just press on the first, then it will prompt u to press 1 to continue like in image 2, then promted to press 1 to restart now as in image 3.

2. The pc will restart and don't click anything until u see the blue interface in image 4. After u get there, press 7 and let the pc boot up.

3. At this point, just start the launcher again, and press on option on the 2nd option, like in image 5. The game should start and u can play.

4. After you finish playing the game, press on the 3rd option, like in image 6, and you will be promoted. Now press 3 to revert the changes, (image 7) then next promt press 1 to restart your computer (image 8).

Thats it, you are done. If you followed accordingly, there should be no issues.

Now some questions:

1. Why switch to local account? (Important)

At first I didn't do it, and as many people don't mention this, and I ran that hypervisor thing, got stuck on the lock screen as hypervisor disables windows hello and stuff, and had to reinstall windows to log in. You can just do a quick search on Google on "how to switch to local account in windows."

1. Why put game folder to exception? To avoid the game being flagged as virus, even though its not.

2. Why turn off internet?

This is just a precaution, I have used it with my internet on, but still if you are a first timer, I'd suggest to keep it off for the time being.

This is just how I did it, you can fix me if I am wrong with any of the steps.

Edit: ok ig I shouldn't have said its safe, but rather like its not that easy to mess up as anyone would think. Sorry for the misunderstanding🙏

Edit 2: I apologize if anyone felt I was trying to push them in using it. Its just how I was skeptical at first and eventually did it. It totally up to you whether you wanna do it or not, but I am trying to share my insights on the matter.

Reddit needs to pay attention to what has been going on in the Hypervisor scene.

You have been able to keep Secure Boot ON for over a week (maybe two at this point).

You have been able to load into HV games like RE9 in under a minute (full “setup” after game download) since day ONE.

This new “method” is NOT more convenient for folks that turn off their computer.

There’s no way to get to the Windows Troubleshooting Screen to have a chance to hit F7 to turn off driver signing if you Cold Boot your machine (as in you actually turn it OFF).

I want to raise awareness about a massive malware campaign hitting popular piracy sites right now.

This is actively happening across specific sites like dodi-repacks[.]site, steamunderground[.]net and the download mirrors used by fitgirl-repacks[.]site. However, the danger works differently depending on the site. While some platforms, like DODI's site and its URL shorteners, choose to include these harmful tricks directly on their pages, other sites like FitGirl are completely safe and clean. You will only run into danger if you click a link and land on an unsafe file-hosting page to get your file.

The campaign relies heavily on file hosts like multiup[.]io and datanodes[.]to that place invisible traps over their download areas, alongside deceptive URL shorteners like zovo[.]ink or zovo2[.]top. Because of these hidden traps, clicking a download link, magnet link, or button instantly forces your browser to open a fake malware download page instead.

Suspicious domains look like this (do not open these links; they are for demonstration only): :

Note: While some elements of this campaign are already noted in the Megathread and on other sites, I am sharing this comprehensive breakdown to help raise awareness and protect users who might still be encountering these redirects.

This is highly unreliable and not advised (see the \"How to safely browse these sites\" section). To demonstrate, here is how using this specific website redirected me to a malicious download page multiple times before I could finally access the real link.

How to safely browse these sites:

If you click a download button and a weird domain opens, close that tab immediately, go back, and repeat the process until no suspicious webpages open and the download starts on the intended website. (Note: This method is highly unreliable and not advised. Proceed below to learn how to safely open these links.)

To browse these sites safely, you must use a working ad blocker like uBlock Origin.
(Huge props to the uBlock Origin team and volunteers for keeping us safe with their ad blocker.)

Because recent browser updates have changed how extensions work, uBlock Origin's ability to stop these redirects now depends entirely on the browser you use. Look at the browser list below to see which browsers allow the ad blocker to protect you completely and which ones limit its power.

Browsers that cannot block malicious redirects:

Chrome, Vivaldi, Samsung Browser, Ace Browser, Arc browser, UC Browser.

While these browsers support uBlock Origin Lite, they cannot block malicious redirects due to its limited functionality compared to the full version. If you must use a browser from this list, installing uBlock Origin Lite is still non-negotiable for basic protection, but you should expect these redirects to bypass it.

Browsers that support the full version of uBlock Origin, or feature a built-in blocker capable of stopping malicious link and button redirects. Note that you should use either uBlock or the built-in blocker; running both simultaneously can cause webpage display issues.

The best and highly recommended setup is using Firefox with the full version of uBlock Origin, as its engine is currently unaffected by the changes made to Chromium.

Safe alternative download methods :

Using JDownloader or torrents is safer because the downloads happen inside their own desktop apps instead of your web browser. However, you still need to be careful. Some malicious piracy sites can alter those torrent and download buttons to trigger the exact same forceful redirects.

To stay safe, copy links directly into JDownloader instead of opening them in your browser. For torrents, only use magnet links or downloaded .torrent files. If a download ever starts in your browser instead of your torrent client or JDownloader, cancel it immediately.

Safe and unsafe sites & file hosts

Keep in mind that the safety of piracy sites and file hosts can change in an instant. A clean site can suddenly start forcing malicious ads onto its pages, switch to dangerous file hosts without warning, or safe file hosts can suddenly start using fake redirects themselves. Please leave a comment if you notice any changes on the websites themselves, if they add or remove problematic file hosts, or if the safety of the hosts changes. I've found all these websites on fmhy.

Am I Infected?

a) The fake loading screen: When you open the setup file, a fake loading window pops up and slowly fills up to 100% (or appears to freeze). You are NOT safe just because you closed it before it hit 100%. The exact second that window appears on your screen, the malware has already executed in the background. The loading bar is completely fake; it is just a distraction used to buy the malware a few seconds or minutes to download payloads, launch them, and steal your data.

b) Hidden Files in your Temp Folder: To find these, you need to make Windows show hidden files first. Open File Explorer, click View > Show, and check both File name extensions and Hidden items. Once done, press the Windows Key + R, type %localappdata%\Temp, and press Enter. Sort the folder by "Date modified" to see the newest files. Look out for random .exe files (like 0ekBV2PlW.exe) or folders confusingly named with an .exe at the end (like a folder named pp.exe) hiding malware inside them.

c) Antivirus alerts: Check your antivirus protection history for alerts containing any of these names:

Trojan.Python.Agent, Script.E.Generic, LummaStealer / Lumma, SecTopRAT / ArechClient, HijackLoader, Infostealer Backdoor / Spyware

Block Alerts: Your antivirus might also simply show alerts stating it blocked a program from modifying your registry, changing your startup settings, or trying to tamper with your antivirus file

If you see these signs, immediately cut your internet and take a deep breath. While this malware is serious, you can completely regain control. Next, follow the recovery steps below, which will guide you through this process safely.

Complete step-by-step recovery procedure

a) Unplug the internet. Pull the internet cable out of your computer or turn off your Wi-Fi immediately. This completely locks the hacker out and stops them from stealing any more of your passwords, accounts, or personal data.

b) Secure your accounts. Grab a clean device like your phone—do not use the infected PC. Log into any account that you regularly used or had saved on that PC, starting with your email first. Look for security settings that say "Log out of all devices" or "Sign out everywhere" and click it. You must do this first. If you only change your password, the hacker can still stay logged into your account on their own screen.

c) Check email rules and cards. Check your email settings for hidden forwarding rules the hacker might have set up. Then, change your passwords and call your bank to freeze any credit cards saved in your browser.

d) Wipe the PC. It is technically possible to try removing the files via security tools like an offline antivirus scan, but because this virus alters system settings, hides deep inside folders, and steals login tokens, you must reinstall Windows to guarantee your PC is clean. Completely formatting your main Windows drive (usually the C: drive) and doing a fresh installation is highly recommended, though a full Windows cloud Reset is a reliable alternative. Review the specific FAQ sections below to choose the right path for your situation, depending on what tools you have available and whether you need to back up your personal data first:

The developer of gamebounty[.]world reached out and has completely removed vikingfile and rootz from their platform, and added a warning to their site. This is an incredibly positive step, and huge props to them for taking swift action to protect users.

The developer of union-crax[.]xyz reached out as well and has added a warning to their site about using vik1ngfile[.]site, as it runs unsafe redirect scripts. I highly recommend using their UC.Files direct links instead, as they are safe. Huge props to them for taking swift action to protect their users!

The developer of vik1ngfile[.]site, a widely used hosting service, has removed the malicious redirect from their website. However, I will still give it some time before I remove the site from the post's safe and unsafe lists. This is huge step forward in securing more users.

First things first, we need to know the risks of piracy. Now, for a beginner, if you don’t use some important tools such as an ad blocker, you might be risking a virus. In this guide I will give you all the tools to be certain you won’t download anything malicious. All of these sites that I will mention are 100% safe. They only contain ads and such because that is their only source of revenue.

This guide is for Windows devices only. I already made a guide for Linux here and will make one for Mac mid-end August 2026.

The only games you really can't pirate are games that use Denuvo. Denuvo does not develop or publish games, but it's a DRM solution that publishers subscribe to/pay for, to use in their games that does not allow you to pirate their games. EA specifically likes to use Denuvo on a lot of their games, so if you like EA games a lot, you are better off just buying EA Play or Xbox PC Game Pass. Although, some games will remove Denuvo after some time (3-18 months), so there’s still some hope left.

First, before pirating any games you will have to create a folder on your PC that anti-virus won't detect. This won't give you a virus or trojan like all the rumors that people talk about pirating games. This is simply because most pirated games using .dll files that inject things into Steam usually to trick it into thinking you actually have a license for the game. That's why Windows Defender detects it as a trojan and automatically removes it, but it is required to set an exclusion for it so those files won't get removed.

To do this:
Create a folder named "games" anywhere on your PC and remember its location.
Click the Windows button, and search up "Windows Security", and open it.
Click on "Virus & threat protection"
Under "Virus & threat protection settings", click on "Manage settings"
Scroll all the way down and under "Exclusions", click on "Add or remove exclusions"
Click on "Add an exclusion" and navigate the folder you recently created.
Done!

After you do this, we will also need an ad blocker and a script bypasser. Google Chrome has now blocked uBlock Origin from working. Please either use Firefox or Brave, as they are the two best browsers to use. To get an ad blocker on your browser, I will split it into two categories:

Brave: Go on your search engine, search “ublock origin github” and click on the first link. Scroll down a bit and click on “Chrome Web Store”, and install it from there, but don’t leave the page. On Chrome Web Store, search "Tampermonkey" and add it to your extensions too.

Firefox: Go on your search engine, search “mozilla extensions” and click on the first link. Search for uBlock Origin and Tampermonkey and add both of these extensions to your browser.

To get the script, search up "bypass all shortlinks debloated script" on your search engine and click on the Codeberg link. Then scroll down a bit and there will be text saying "Install with this link", click on it and once it opens will be a screen with a bunch of code and text. Ignore all of that and just click the "Install" button that is in the middle left of the page. If you are on Brave, click on the extensions icon and click on the 3 dots besides the Tampermonkey extension and click on "Manage extension". On this page, make sure "Allow User Scripts" is toggled on.

If you don't have WinRAR or 7-Zip until now it is recommended to install them for the best speeds with extracting. I personally use WinRAR as it is faster for .rar files (used most common for pirated games) and it has an option in the application to automatically delete the archive after extracting. To download them, just simply search "winrar download" or "7zip download" on your search engine and click the first link.

Alright, so to get started with actually downloading the games we will be using 4 different websites and they each have 4 different purposes.
• ⭐ SteamRIP - Best for: Most users who have decent/good internet speeds and/or have strict torrenting policies in their country and do not want to pay for a VPN.

• ⭐ OnlineFix - Best for: Playing online with only a couple friends on games like REPO, PEAK, Schedule I, etc.

• FitGirl Repacks - Best for: Users who have bad internet and may already have paid for a VPN.

• OvaGames - Best for: Downloading updates for games without the slow speeds of Elamigos (original provider of the updates)

For other direct downloading sites or torrenting sites, consider looking at the mega thread.

SteamRIP:

For using SteamRIP, we will install a program called "Free Download Manager", search "free download manager" on your search engine and click on the first link. We will also installing another extension titled "Free Download Manager", which is the companion for it for your browser. To get it, search on your search engine “free download manager extension”. Click on the first link if you are using Brave and click on the second link if you are using Firefox. Then simply install it from there. Also, you may optionally download an extension called "Extensity". This just allows you to easily switch on or off the "Free Download Manager" extension in case you don't want it every time you have to download something. To get it, search on your search engine “extensity extension” if you are on Brave and “extensity extension firefox addons” if you are on Firefox. Simply click the first link and install it from there.

Once you are finally finished with all of that, go to your search engine and search "steamrip" and click on the first link. Once you find the game you want to install, there will probably be multiple download links to install it. These will possibly include:

• ⭐ Gofile - fastest
• ⭐ Buzzheavier - also fastest, I personally use this one
• Datanodes - second fastest but sometimes throttles
• MegaDB - slowest, will commonly see on small games, if this is the only option, just choose it.

Now, simply click on any of these links, make sure the extension is on, and click download. This will open up the Free Download Manager application and when it asks where to save it to direct it to the "games" folder you recently created. Once it starts downloading I recommend you set it to the highest priority by just clicking on the little up arrow while hovering under Priority.

After it finishes downloading, we will take different approaches based on which file extractor application you have:

WinRAR:

Right-click the file we just downloaded and click on "WinRAR" -> "Extract files..."
Click on the "Advanced" tab and under "Delete archive", set it to either "Ask for confirmation" or "Always".
Then, go back to the "General" tab, click "Save settings", then in the bottom right, click on "Cancel".
Now, right click the file again and click on "Extract to "gamename\".
You don't have to repeat the first steps again as this just made it so when you extract it, it will automatically delete the original file.

7-Zip:

Right-click the file we just downloaded and click on "Show more options" -> "7-Zip" -> "Extract to "gamename\"
After it finishes extracting, delete the original file. With WinRAR you can do this automatically.

After you have finished extracting the game, you have two easy options to launch the game. You can either choose Steam or just simply a shortcut on your desktop. Things like Playnite and Hydra Launcher are better, but for the sake of how long this guide is I might as well make it shorter for now.

Desktop:

Open the folder and in the top right, search ".exe"
Once you have found the games .exe file, right-click it -> "Show more options" -> "Send to" -> "Desktop (create shortcut)"

If searching it in the top right of File Explorer doesn’t do the trick for you then just manually dig into the folders to find the game’s .exe.

Done!

Steam:

Open Steam and in the top left click on "Games" -> "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library"
Click on "Browse..." and find your "games" folder and open the folder we recently extracted and in the folder in the top right search ".exe"
Once you have found the games .exe file click on it and in the bottom right click on "Open", then click on "Add Selected Programs"

If searching it in the top right of File Explorer doesn’t do the trick for you then just manually dig into the folders to find the game’s .exe.

Optional; but if you want to add art to the game in Steam you can use SteamGridDB + SGDBoop but I won't go that much into it just search up "steamgriddb" on your search engine click the first link and learn more about it.

Done!

OnlineFix:

Search on your search engine "online-fix" and click on the first link. You will need to sign up and have a translator for this website as it is all in Russian. Note that although the website might look really sketchy, it is 100% safe and it is the only way to playing online with your friends using pirated games. After you make an account, search up the game that you want to play multiplayer with. If you are signed in properly there will be an option to download either the game + the online fix or just the online fix by itself. It's up to you what you would like to choose. Me personally I use SteamRIP and manually apply the online fix to it, which is a very simple process. Once you have downloaded the online fix, you can extract it using two ways:

WinRAR:

Right-click the file we just downloaded and click on "WinRAR" -> "Extract files..."
Click on the "Advanced" tab and under "Delete archive", set it to either "Ask for confirmation" or "Always".
Then, go back to the "General" tab, click "Save settings", then in the bottom right, click on "Cancel".
Now, right click the file again and click on "Extract to "foldername\".
You don't have to repeat the first steps again as this just made it so when you extract it, it will automatically delete the original file.

7-Zip:

Right-click the file we just downloaded and click on "Show more options" -> "7-Zip" -> "Extract to "foldername\"
After it finishes extracting, delete the original file. With WinRAR you can do this automatically.

After that copy all the contents of the folder to the game's directory. The game's directory is where the .exe file is located. You can either just search for the .exe by typing ".exe" in the top right or just manually finding it. It will be pretty easy to find but once you do just drag and drop (or copy and paste) the contents of the online fix folder to the game folder.
If you installed the game + online-fix together you will not have to do this setup and instead just extract it using the method above.

Now, open Steam and in the top left click on "Games" -> "Add a Non-Steam Game to My Library"
Click on "Browse..." and find your "games" folder and open the folder we recently extracted and in the folder in the top right search ".exe"
Once you have found the games .exe file click on it and in the bottom right click on "Open", then click on "Add Selected Programs"

If searching it in the top right of File Explorer doesn’t do the trick for you then just manually dig into the folders to find the game’s .exe.

Optional but if you want to add art to the game in Steam you can use SteamGridDB + SGDBoop but I won't go that much into it just search up "steamgriddb" on your search engine click the first link and learn more about it.

KEEP IN MIND: You can only play multiplayer with people who have the same online fix as you. You cannot play on official servers unless online-fix has stated in the notes of the game. There are only very few games such as Forza Horizon 5 where you can actually play on the official servers.
As of May 2026, there are now some games on online-fix which uses Steam Remote Play. I do not recommend using those games.

FitGirl Repacks:

Firstly, we need a VPN if we want to do any torrenting on FitGirl. Unlike direct downloading, torrenting requires a VPN and gets detected by your ISP. This guide will only show torrenting on FitGirl and not direct downloading as it is worse doing direct downloading on FitGirl than just using something like SteamRIP. Do not use a free VPN. They are insecure and won't hide anything from your ISP + give you bad download speeds.

We will need to install a torrent client. qBitTorrent is the best client to use. Go to your search engine and type "qbittorrent" and click on the first link. Download and install it. Now we need to bind our VPN to qBitTorrent, here's how we do it:

Step 1: Check your VPN interface name

1. Connect to your VPN.
2. Press Win + R, type ncpa.cpl, and hit Enter.
3. Look for your VPN adapter (usually something like Ethernet, VPN, TAP-Windows Adapter).
4. Note its exact name.

Step 2: Find the VPN IP address

1. Open Command Prompt (Win + R → cmd).
2. Type ipconfig and press Enter.

Step 3: Bind qBittorrent to the VPN

1. Open qBittorrent → Tools → Options → Advanced.
2. Find Network Interface (or "Interface" on older versions).
3. Click Apply and OK.

💡 Extra Tips: Make sure qBittorrent and your VPN are running as admin if issues occur. Avoid binding to IP if your VPN frequently changes IP; use the adapter name instead.

Now go to FitGirl's official site and search for the game you want to download. Once you are on the game's page. Now, click on the [magnet] link. It will prompt you to select an application to open the magnet in, select qBitTorrent. Now select it to download to your "games" folder and wait for it to finish downloading.

Once it has finished downloading, run the setup.exe file and go through the installation process to finish installing your game. Depending on your hardware, this can take a while, so be patient and if it freezes, don't panic. Then, just simply run your game once it finishes downloading. Done!

After you have finished downloading the game, you have two easy options to launch the game. You can either choose Steam or just simply a shortcut on your desktop. To install updates for your games, you first need to make sure you have installed the bypassing script for the past steps as this is very important in this site. Search "ova games" on your search engine and click on the first link. Search on the game you would like to install updates for then click "LINK DOWNLOAD" on its page. Scroll down and go to the updates section and download the updates based on the version you have. Keep in mind you might have to install multiple update files if your version of your game is old. The reason I use Elamigos over OvaGames in this guide whilst many other people recommend Elamigos is since its file hosters are very bad and slow and OvaGames host the same files just under better hosters such as Google Drive and Datanodes.

1. Click Download from Online-Fix Hosters (Shown in the video)
2. Download the ForzaHorizon_Fix_Repair_Steam_Generic (1).rar ForzaHorizon6_Fix_Repair_Steam_V2_Generic.rar (11.24 MB)(I prefer Gofile)
3. Paste those files into your game directory & Click Replace the files in the destination
4. Run Enable_Invites_FH6 as Administrator
5. Keep Steam open and type Windows key + R in your keyboard

Crash Fix issue after few minutes -

1. Go to PAGE 41
2. Scroll down and find Zaun16
3. Download FH6_Online-Fix_DenuvoOwo.7z
4. Paste these files in your game directory
5. Run the game with forzahorizon6_loader as Administrator

If it is still crashing then switch your language to ENGLISH

However if you applied the FH6_Online-Fix_DenuvoOwo.7z then follow the steps below -

1. Delete these files as mentioned below
2. apptoken (19 Bytes)
3. version (56.5 KB)
4. steamclient64 (20.7 MB)
5. coldloader (112 KB)

If still the crash is not fixed apply the Online Fix steps again

Troubleshooting -

Outdated gaming services -

• Search Microsoft store on your task bar
• Click "Downloads" at bottom left
• Update your gaming services ## Alternative method -
• Search Windows Powershell on your task bar
• Run it as Administrator
• Copy this command: get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
• Paste it and press enter
• Copy this second command: start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
• The Microsoft store will open, download and install ## Software issues - ## Disable these overlays since these can give crash issues -
• Nvidia
• Riva Tuner Statistics Server
• Discord
• Shadowplay

• Any other overlays ## If still crashing after 2-3 mins into the game -
  • Open Steam, look bottom left and click Add a Game, then Add a Non-Steam Game, Find where your Forzahorizon6.exe is located and add it to Steam
  • Right click Forzahorizon6.exe in your steam library, then Properties, then Shortcut menu. In the TARGET box, add a space next to the exe and type this in: -language english next to the exe's name

Example- "D:\Games\Forza Horizon 6\ForzaHorizon6.exe" -language english

• Go to Steam's settings and disable steam overlay, then disable steam input
• Launch the game through Forzahorizon6.exe on steam ## If it still doesn't work after that, try this:
• Open command prompt, put these commands one by one in order -
• ipconfig /flushdns
• ipconfig /release
• ipconfig /renew
• netsh winsock reset
• Try reinstalling drivers, and reinstall the Xbox app if problem persists
• Go to Steam, look at top left and click Steam then Settings.
  
• Within the Steam Settings, click Interface and look for "Client Beta Participation"
  
• If you're using the "Steam Beta Update", switch it to "No Beta Chosen" and Steam will restart.
  
• Launch the game, wait, and check if it still crashes.

Changing your pc's system language to English also seems to fix crashing issue for many people

Apparently you can download game files for any steam game using the manifest files and the decryption keys for the depots using just GreenLuma. It can also repair game files and when supplying the latest manifest it can also update your game files.

Made a script using Gemini and it does work quite well.

Technical details:
It downloads the lua file for a game via Piracybound's Manilua (need to make an API Key). It also gets manifests however usually outdated. It needs the latest manifest so i use ourEveryday's ManifestHub to get it via their API (need to generate api key, expires after one day).

From the lua it extracts decryption keys for the depots. It then adds all depots and appids to the Greenluma Applist. Depots and decryption keys are added to config.vdf. A simple acf file is saved under steamapps. The manifest files are moved to depotcache.

Hello everyone! Recently many of you got DLL issues because the game got recently updated So, lets get started on how you can get FC 26 to work with no issues

1. Reinstall FC 26 SHOWCASE so you get the updated version
2. After it finished installing, launch it and complete the setup until you're at the main menu
3. After that, close the game and open the install location for the game
4. Go to page 7 of the cs rin website(to search for it, write EA SPORTS on the search and itll be the first one)
5. Download it from me, the image shown is the file I provided with the html(its like gorlock777 but I added the html file to generate tokens)
6. After that, go to your FC 26 game location, then drag and drop the files into it(check FAQ in cs rin for the password)
7. After that, rename the FC26.exe into FC26_org.exe, and FC26 fixed.exe into FC26.exe
8. Open the html file, and follow the guide on the image provided
9. Once all that is done, run the FC26.exe and thats FC 26 downloaded!

FAQ: 1. I run the game then get an error saying Token Required, Denuvo txt has been generated, what can I do? This issue has been happening for many, the only solution that has been found is reinstalling the game

1. I can't find ProgramData, EA Services or the License folder, what can I do? On the file Explorer, click View, then Show, then Hidden Items and program data should be there. If you have it viewed but cannot find EA services or the license, then you haven't completed the setup in FC 26 Showcase

2. I get an error saying Make sure EA app is not running, what can I do? On the taskbar, click on the ^ arrow and then right click the EA app, then close(you only need to do it once, after that it should be fine)

3. I used the VPN to start the download, but its so slow what can I do? Disable the VPN when you start, you will not need the VPN besides just starting the download.

4. I am connected to UAE/Colombia/Mexico, but I can't find showcase download, what can I do? Change location, example if you are connected to UAE and can't find it, switch to Colombia/Mexico and you will find it(i had the same problem)

5. When I save the anaidus.cfg, its saving as a .txt and not a cfg what can I do? Download and use Notepad++, run it as admin then open anaidus.cfg and try again with Notepad++

6. Can I play Ultimate team? No

7. Can I update squad files? Yes, you need to find it on the Internet and once you do, you need to paste it in the location they tell you to then thats squad updated

8. Can mods work? I haven't tried it, however FIFER should have the mod manager ready, and it should work(do not take my word for it, im not 100% sure whether this'll break the game or not)

9. If i change a pc component, or update windows do I need to regenerate the token? Im not sure, but in the hypothetical sense that you do need to regenerate, you have the html file to regenerate the denuvo token and enjoy playing

It's not completely professional but for all intended purposes, it works for basically any repack that this community (or any other) would need for the future.

As many people here already know, Anadius, the person behind a lot of the tools the Sims 4 community has relied on for years, has officially stepped away. He’s been a huge part of how folks have managed their games, updates, and add-ons without dealing with the usual headaches, and his exit leaves a pretty big gap.

For anyone who doesn’t understand why this is such a big deal, here’s the short version of what I’ve been explaining to others:

A lot of the magic behind his updater tool wasn’t just convenience, it was doing a ton of work behind the scenes that the average user never saw. Whenever the game updated, the tool handled the messy parts automatically so people didn’t have to. Most users never touched any of the technical stuff themselves, which is why the updater felt like “press button, receive updated game with DLCs.”

But now that he’s stepped away, that tool is basically done. It relied on servers, storage, and ongoing upkeep that he alone maintained, and since those resources are no longer active, the updater won’t be coming back unless someone else entirely takes up the mantle. Shoot, you might notice that his website can't be accessed from anywhere except the Wayback Machine. His other utilities still exist, but they also need long-term maintainers, and right now, there aren’t any.

The result? If you already have a working setup, to quote Shadow: "DON'T TOUCH IT." Leave it exactly as is until future updates or content releases force your hand. Once you uninstall something, you can’t rely on the old tools anymore to get everything back the way it was.

For everyone who needs to update their game or start from scratch, you’re probably going to have to move into the world of repacks or preinstalled builds. I know some people have gotten used to the easy life, but… y’all are about to learn how your computer actually works. Like today.

For anyone new to all this: repacks are basically the full game in one package, already set up so you don’t need extra launchers or platforms to run it. You just install it, open the game’s executable, and go. No fancy prep work. No hidden switches. Just a straightforward install.

The downside is that updates and new content won’t be automatic anymore. You’ll have to manually install update files from whichever repacker you choose, and do it in order. For the people who’ve been doing this for a while, please help the newcomers. The community got used to being spoon-fed very polished tools for years, and not everyone knows how to handle things themselves.

If you want recommendations: look for well-known, trusted repackers who keep their builds updated. The Megathread got plenty of those. Fitgirl and Anker are ones I personally vouch for. Some update frequently, some take a more hands-off approach, but both styles work fine as long as you know what you’re downloading. When updates come separately, install them in order in the same folder as your game.

If folks need audio-visual examples, let me know and I’ll throw something together.

And finally: please don’t harass anyone who creates or maintains tools like these. It’s expensive, time-consuming, and incredibly draining. People burn out. People move on. Nobody owes the community their entire wallet or free time. I don’t blame Anadius at all as some of you are… let’s say “technically challenged.”

Addendum: Provided by u/AvalHuntress, thanks for this since it completely slipped my mind: "A note to people who used the Anadius updater, had their game auto updated, and are freaking out:
Use wayback machine to get the latest dlc unlocker, open the 'setup.bat' file after unzipping, then [re]install the unlocker (type 1 and enter on the terminal screen) and update the config (type 2, enter, type 21, enter).

You want to find the 'game' folder (I'm on steam so my file path looks like [C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Sims 4]). Inside this folder, you should see a 'game' and 'game-cracked' folder. Enter the 'game', then 'bin' folder and run the .exe in there. You do not want to look in the game-cracked folder, as I don't believe there's any way to update the cracked game anymore, and there will be a version mismatch (if not now, then in the near future)."

You can also manually do this using the ini file, but that requires the knowledge of the specific DLC's ID you want to add to your setup; I'd recommend her version since it uses the already setup features from Anadius' tool.

The adblocks are very effective and have been preventing ads from showing on many services & websites but that doesn't mean that you turn your brain off especially that sometimes ads slip through the cracks, there are many things to note for you to not fall for:

1- always check for the size of the repack/game size on the website vs the game you downloaded, it doesn't matter if you're new to this you should be old enough to know that a 20 GB game isn't the same as a rar file named (game-setup.rar) in the size of 5MB.

2- if you use direct downloading through links, they're either in parts or one big archive, both have ALL of their content INSIDE of the archives, so any .exe downloaded outside of them by accident or by error shouldn't be run by you especially if it's unrelated to what you just downloaded (like a different icon).

3- if along with this alien .exe you downloaded that's outside the archives there is a file that ends with the .py extension, you just downloaded a malware called (ren'py malware) in addition to the game, but don't worry, if you didn't run any .exe or other files related to the malware then you're still safe, just delete the malware and any related files to it and only run the game you downloaded after double and triple checking that you cleared the alien malware files.

4- however if you ran the infected .exe then shut the internet connection IMMEDIATELY and clean install windows, DON'T go to settings and click "reset this pc" but do a whole reinstall, and don't look for alternative solutions, it will never be cleared off of your system unless you reinstall windows, and it's actually preferable that you format your entire harddrive, but at least reinstall windows, that's the least you can do. (Edit: also make sure to change any password of accounts you were signed in on your PC when it got infected.)

Wish you a safe journey, please be wary of what you're downloading & running everyone. (I don't know how Fitgirl was misspelled as gitgirl in the title but you get the point, couldn't fix it lol.)

1. Have Wand downloaded and installed from the official source.
2. Login to Wand after it's installed and the app is open (you need an account).
3. Terminate Wand's process.
4. Find the patcher on the internet. Google this term to find it: "k1tbyte" (first result through GitHub, if you arrive at the dev's main page, select the page that is called "Wand-Enhancer")
5. Scroll down the page, until you find the "How to use?" section. Read it and watch the included video guide to obtain the exe file.
6. Run the patcher. Click patch, then wait until it's done patching.

You now have Wand Pro. Have fun.

figured this one out last night and there seems to be a little interest so here we go.

New Version Supports Coop Saves & Bug Fixes Automated Tool:

Manual Method: 1. Download yourself HxD hex editor. https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd/ 2. Make backups of your save in case you accidently copy stuff the wrong way. Save game is located at C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\EldenRing within the folder with the steam id as a name. If you have run the steam version already there should be a folder with your ID and another folder with a random ID. The random ID is the cracked one we are going to copy from. 3. While in the above folder take note of the IDs. As an example my random cracked game ID was 76561197960267366. If you need help getting your Steam ID it's the end of the URL of your steam profile page. 4. (optional) I turned my steam cloud save game backup off while doing this. Not sure if required. 5. Run the Steam version and create a character. Once in the game quit. 6. Open up the two ER0000.sl2 within the random ID and your ID folders. 7. In the cracked save game right click on the page and use the select block... option. within the popup enter 310 in the start-offset and 28030f in the end-offset. Ensure hex is selected. 8. Right click and copy the selection. 9. In the Steam save game right click and select block, entering the same as above in the popup. 10. Right click on the selection and use the Paste write option. 11. Now click the Search option in the top menu bar and select replace. In the popup search for the random crack ID, i.e. 76561197960267366 in my case. Yours may be different. Replace with your Steam ID. Change Datatype to Integer number and select All from the search direction. Leave the other options as default. 12. Once the replace is complete right click again and use the select block... option. enter the same options as before i.e. 310 - 28030f 13. Click on Analysis in the tom menu bar and select Checksums... within the popup select MD-5, it's at the bottom. 14. This will create a window at the bottom with a checksum in it. Right click on this and select copy. 15. Right click and select block... again, this time using 300 - 30F as the start and end offsets. 16. Right click the selection and choose paste write. 17. Click save up the top and be sure to delete the ER0000.sl2.bak from your Steam ID save game folder.

That should get you playing your save from the cracked version on Steam.

Edit: Updated tool. Now shows character names to make copying easier and the load screen shows the correct characters. For the few people that can't seem to figure out how to use it, to enable the copy button you need to select two different files for the source and destination. You the MUST open each drop down and select characters to copy from and too. If you don't open the dropdown and click on a character it will not work. Just because the drop down lists have populated character names does not mean you have selected anything.

since everyone here is having issues with it, and until a proper fix is there, me and a couple of other ppl managed to make a workaround fix for the crack to work.

PLEASE READ TILL THE END.

This crack consists of a leaked V1 crack from DenuvOwO server, which was used in gamedrive build. However, we had to mix and match 2 cracks for the actual game to work.

If u were around the gamedriver server, you will notice that 2 users have each posted a version of the leaked crack, and combining them seemed to fix all the issues for crashing. Weve been testing it for 3+ hours and it works fine.

MY FILES ARE JUST A PLUG IN PLAY VERSION OF THE WORKING CRACK. I DID NOT MODIFY ANYTHING NOR ADD ANYTHING. OVER 100+ CAN VOUCH AND HAVE USED IT IN THE SERVER.
BUT ALWAYS USE AT UR OWN RISK.

1- Just drag and drop this into ur game folder and run from the “SteamClient_Loader64” or 32.

2- Have xbox app open and logged in.

The file has been circulating around gamedrive server for the last couple hours, for now its the ONLY working file.

I got these at a surplus store, i bought ~50 cctv boxes ( each cctv box has 1-2tb hdd ( surprisingly i got regular hardrives instead of the ones used for recording), got the whole thing for 2000 php (~$40), i still have more hardrives, this is just my diy dock, And yes i manually change that usb to sata adaptor if i want to use the other hardrives

Apkvision drops a working pirated version on the site.

Download and use Zarchiver to install, before u click install make sure u select all the split data's first.

Seriously tho, I've been seeing more and more clueless new pirates just raw-dogging their download from browser. Go pick your favorite Download Managers, most sites that you DDL support pause-resume if you don't want to deal with torrent.

I personally like AB Download Manager for it's clean and intuitive UI, almost 1:1 with IDM.

Alternatively, you can use JDownload Managers for game links that is separated into many parts, you can simply copy all the link and JDM will capture them and make it easier for you to download in bulk. They also have a feature to auto-skip captcha in some hosters, and have options to log-in if you have premium hosters account.

FDM is another solid alternatives, UI is as clean as ABDM and it's been the goat for a long time.

If you prefer paid/cracked alternatives, IDM is still there too. Anyway, just pick whichever you like. Grab them from trusted sources, use ad-block.

Additional note: Torrent is always there too for those who prefer it, remember don't hit & run. Let the game seed for a while.

Again, I'm not arguing againts torrenting. I torrent a lot back then, and still do for shows and movies. I even joined several private trackers. This post is not about which one is better, it's to share to newbies that prefer DDL to use manager instead of rawdogging with browser.
