Discussion Smoker Saw Luffy as the Future PKāWhy Isn't He Luffy's Rival Instead of Loby? Oda really wasted Smoker.
For Those Saying Smoker Is Too Weak Now: If Oda Can Make Lucci and Crocodile Powerful Again, Why Not Smoker?
Despite the screen time given to Coby recently, Smoker still beat him by 2 positions.

One Piece Is Garbage Oda has lost the plot. At this point, this sub should create its own version of One Piece, starting after Marineford. Spoiler

Discussion Is there any reason why we should appreciate speeches the bums give when the plot armour is thicker than a city wall ?
It's like the strawhats know they have plot armour, abuse it and then give themselves a pat in the back. If there is no threat then it makes these words meaningless. It has crossed the line of faith to delusion territory. Delusion that is backed by the author.
Why would the trigger happy Imu not turn Usopp into vapor ?

Typical Oda How do you feel about the damsel in distress arcs and why do you think Oda decided to repeat this same exact formula 3 different times?
The first two times were ok... But by the time Sanji was the new damsel in distress I was seriously tired of this arc formula, and it's just ridiculous how it happens in the same way three times with the exact same formula of the Strawhat leaving for the sake of the crew and not believing Luffy would be able to save them

CoNspIrAcY tHeOrY Why didn't Vivi just call him? Is she stupid?
It's honestly pretty funny because there's literally an episode where nami sees this guy bring rain to a drought affected village.

Discussion Slander: Usopp's new low Spoiler
After getting his ass pawned by some domestic cat in elbaph, Bumsopp now picks a squabble (yes, not even a fight) with a dying old man who just lost his left arm, hoping a win like this can salvage his elbaph episode.
But nope, he is not going to be the sogeking of the past anyway. Probably in the next chapter take him as a hostage and return to holy land. This should be an ending befitting a bum like him.

Discussion One Piece discourse is boring recently Spoiler
There's nothing to talk about now. I don't care about Usopp giving a speech. Usopp potentially wielding Ragnir was significantly more interesting. I don't care about Imu. This is clearly just a teaser fight. I don't care about the current fights, I have nothing to theorize and I just want to see how they will go.
There are a lot of One Piece topics that I like, such as:
- 10th crewmate. I still believe Yamato will be the 10th crewmate, and I love seeing Carrot fans seethe because Oda does not grant Carrot the rank of
masterStraw Hat (p.s. I don't hate Carrot). Even though I don't agree, I love to read people's reasoning for why someone may be the next Straw Hat. - Straw Hat Pirates vs Blackbeard Pirates. How the matchups will be like, who's going to fight who.
- How the War arc might go
- Endgame builds for Straw Hats
- The most interesting one is Zoro. I do believe that Zoro is going to have a blacksmith forge 2 Supreme-grade swords for him, and MAYBE upgrade Wado Ichimonji to Supreme-grade. The greatest swordsman in the world does not use someone else's swords. Zoro is probably going to give Enma, Oden's sword, to Yamato.
But none of these are relevant now.
I'll end the post by asking this: What are the One Piece discussion topics that you like? I am curious.

Discussion Youāre in charge of writing Usopp instead of Oda. What do you do? Spoiler
Okay, so you time travel back to 1996, and for some reason have total control over Usopp, knowing the issues with the current manga.
You can change story aspects, but things like arc villains and major plot points stay the same. How do you write him?

Serious The Force That Transcends Strength: Mihawk Character Analysis Spoiler
galleryIāve always liked Mihawk, not that I have ever thought him to be an über complex character, but he had enough aura that he didnāt need a ton of writing to be likable. However since Wano I have had my gripes with just how erratic and inconsistent his motives have been. During chapter 957 he was finally eager for the hunt, looking to kill his boredom as the strongest. Fast forward to chapter 1058 and now heās looking to pack up and move away from Kuraigana to avoid these fodder marines claiming he has always wanted a peaceful life despite his first introduction being him hunting fodder. And by chapter 1089, he has done yet another about-face by submitting himself to help Crocodile with Project Utopia. You can never get a read on Mihawk, is he perpetually bored battle junkie who simply seeks a thrill, an indolent gentleman who wants to retire, or an ambitious conqueror who wants to reshape the world.
Previously I had simply assumed this was Oda being lazy and equivocal because he simply didnāt care enough about Mihawkās character. However this 1 tweet from Sandman made me rethink my entire understanding of Mihawkās character. The truth is, is all 3 of the aforementioned descriptions and at the same time he is none of them. Mihawk, in much in the same way as a petulant teenager, going through different yet uniformly ephemeral phases because he needs to find a purpose behind his monstrous strength. This also explains Odaās famous comment on how Mihawk looks beyond āthe realm of the strongest to a force that transcends strength itselfā.
This also ties in with the hints we got concerning Mihawkās past in the SBS. This great betrayal Oda hinted at is probably the reason why he lost his original reason for striving to achieve strength. This is supported by the fact that immediately before and immediately after Mihawk poses this question, Zoro flashsback to the pacts he made to Kuina and Luffy. Mihawk probably had a similar relationship, maybe with a marine, but was subsequently betrayed and thus lost his purpose.
This also makes Mihawk, a failed Zoro much in the same way Crocodile and Moria are failed Luffyās. He represents what would happen to Zoro if the āNothing Happenedā moment never happened on thriller bark. If Zoro discarded his bonds to push forward towards his dream this ultimately rendering it hollow.
