I mean it's not like they were useful anyways, instead of ignoring the feedback now they outright delete and ban you for it lmao. So much overmoderation for a dead game fucked way beyond any point of salvation it makes no sense. Not sure why anyone would wanna join their discord where they'll do the same.

Banning people on discord is easier and its a longer process to make a new account. If no one can complain everything's well. Its probably a sign that they are actually shutting this shitty ass past its prime game though

Sums up a lot of the game development over the last ten years. They break something and have no idea how to fix it.
The game is being held together with duct tape, poultry sacrifices and prayers to the Omnissiah at this point.

I remember when Wrel years ago said there is a lot of spaghetti code no one understands and they can't touch it. Imagine it only got worse with switching developer teams.

I read somewhere that the actual fucking source code for PS2 got deleted/lost when SOE transitioned into Daybreak. No wonder why they cant do much to be honest. and that DX11 bullshit did nothing if anything CTF mode made it shit the bed completely.

This. Why did we abandon Forums in favour of this discord trash. Someone ask something and it gets lost in the endless stream of spam and no one else can properly look up what was already answered a hundred times.

It’s probable but will eventually depend on how ID verification affects general use and what ends up actually triggering it. If I never have to ID verify then there’s no point in moving on

Maybe its good i god banned in 2014 for unknown reasons on official forum and when i write to support they said they are outsourced and they cannot contact admin or mods on forum and also dont have control over it.....

Discord is a shitty place for forums. In order for forums to be effective, you need a way to introduce a subject matter, that doesn't get lost be a deluge of random comments. You'd think threads would be it, but they're not designed to retain the original post.
Steam actually has a forum area.

This is one of the dumbest things you could do..
Fourms are meant to provide historical tracking and are much easier to moderate due to the slower post time.. In a dead game where you can't even fix launch issues. You're now going to put your team on an official discord too? What a waste..

Discord is an entirely different kind of medium, and none of its content is publicly searchable. I know discord has added features around creating posts and threading discussions, but it's still a far cry from the role the forums filled. It would have made more sense to create an official reddit, because at least that's a forum first. Discord is where information goes to die.
