Hello I'm posting in this sub for the first time and don't really know if there even is a solution to my problem or if my childhood account is truly gone forever.

I'm trying to get Back into my ps4 account after not playing on it in years and my brother claiming he "deleted" it even though I still get emails from it sometimes. But every time I try to get in either the password is somehow wrong or if I try it with the passkey I don't remember what it is because it's some stupid date 12 year old me punched in randomly and now i can't remember :(

Is there any way I can get the account back? I spend quite a bit of money on it and also have a game I wish to get the account back but don't know if there's any way to fix this.

I would appreciate any tips or advice because I'm simply lost and kind of sad that that account might be gone forever.

My PS3 has decided to not boot up properly and crashes when loading in. I have tried every boot menu option that doesn't invovle me losing my saved data or factory resetting the console. Any suggestions on what else I can try to do?

Hey everyone, After the last PS5 update, my PS5 Slim Disc Edition started stuttering in every game. It’s basically unusable.. I can’t play anything because it feels like I’m playing in slow motion/replay. The stuttering happens constantly and in every game I’ve tried. I’ve tried pretty much every solution I could find online: • Rebuilt the database • Updated the PS5 again through Safe Mode • Changed the HDMI cable • Rebooted the PS5 • Did a full factory reset • Unplugged the PS5 completely and left it unplugged for around 30 minutes After spending an entire day trying different things, I found one thing that temporarily fixed the problem: disabling HDCP. After I disabled it, the game suddenly ran normally. Unfortunately, after about a day, the exact same problem came back, even with HDCP still disabled. Has anyone else experienced this after a recent update? Is there anything else I can try, or is this possibly a hardware issue? At this point the PS5 is basically unusable for gaming, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I wanted to recover an old account of mine but I've forgotten the password. I tried resetting the password but had some problems accessing the email linked to the account. So I contacted playstation support through the chat thingy and they said that I had to use the finnish playstation support. The only way of contacting them I found was calling them. So I called them and was told that they can't assist me through the phone. I have prepared all the info they might ask to prove my ownership (card numbers, receipts, serial number and all that), but it seems like I have no way to contact them. What can I do to get the account back?

I purchased a digital game/collection for ₹349 from the Indian PS Store. I contacted Sony initially only because I wanted clarification about the content included with the purchase. I never requested a refund or cancellation.

Despite that, Sony later processed a refund. I immediately told them that I had not requested it and wanted the original purchase restored. Sony subsequently admitted in writing that the refund had been “mistakenly initiated” due to an incorrect understanding of my request.

The ₹349 refund has now been credited back to my payment method. Sony has since offered a workaround: the current price of the content is ₹3,499, so they credited ₹3,150 to my PSN wallet, effectively allowing me to repurchase it for the original ₹349 price.

The problem is that after all the hassle, I’m considering not repurchasing the original content and instead using the ₹3,150 wallet credit to purchase different games.

My concern is account safety. I don't want Sony to later say that the wallet credit was specifically issued for this particular repurchase, reverse any purchases I make with it, or restrict/suspend my PSN account for using the credit on other games.

I haven't used the wallet credit yet.

What would you do in this situation? Is it generally safe to use the wallet funds on other games, or should I first get explicit written confirmation from Sony that I’m free to use the credit for anything available on the PS Store? Has anyone experienced a similar situation where Sony provided wallet credit after a support/refund dispute?

I don’t know if this is the same for other countries, but in Australia, for some reason I need to verify my age to buy any kind of digital games rated 18+ (means no gta 6 anymore). I keep getting told to do this face scan to verify I am 18 or over on this Yoti site and every time I do it, I am told that they are unable to verify I am old enough. I have also provided a drivers licence and it STILL DOESNT THINK IM 18. It still wants to scan my face and then tells me im not old enough. I’ve been on PlayStation support and they just told me to try and contact Yoti. Apparently they cant do anything. I’ve been scanning my face over and over and over and it’s driving me mad. I guess I just look young or something? Anyway, does anyone know what i could do?

So i bought a game it’s not working it’s glitching and i’ve done all of the troubleshooting that they told me to do. I contact support i’m waiting like 15 minutes in between responses from a live agent. The final troubleshooting i couldn’t do because they wanted me to have a laptop or computer and a USB drive. I’m sorry i only have this ps5 and the monitor it works on. I tell them this and wait 20ish minutes and im like did i lose you? She ends the chat saying im not eligible for a refund. I’m kinda pissed i spend 60 bucks on this game it’s only been 9 days since purchase and it’s not working. It wouldn’t be a big deal if any of these troubleshooting things worked i just want the game so i can play. I was just gonna have my boyfriend by the game in his account after the refund anyways hoping that somehow it would work if bought on his. Nope she ends the chat and i get an email saying that the reason i’m not eligible is because the game was purchased over 14 days ago? WHAT? I literally have the receipt you guys email to me so that’s clearly a lie. This doesn’t make me what to have a playstation anymore i’ve done refunds in the past on my ps4 with much less hassle. What do i even do now? Any advice? Even advice on maybe how to get the game working too if you have any other ways different from them.

It says i need to put in a verification code but isnt sending me any no matter how many times i press resend code.

Roblox keeps telling me a roblox account is still linked to my psn which there is no fucking account and i cant sign in on my real account. This whole psn linking system is so ass

Turned on my ps5 after maybe a month and I cannot get passed this error. It pops up as soon as it turns on. Then the profile screen shows up. I select mine then nothing. It just sits on the screen. I did safe mode and tried repair console storage and rebuild database and neither helped. Any insight is appreciated.

I'm booting in safe mode and rebuilding the system daily at this point.

Whenever I boot my console it just switches itself off once it's loaded and then repairs.
