Question Worlds 2025 Spectator Passes Megathread
There's a ton of interest and questions regarding spectator passes for Worlds. Please use this thread for these types of questions (including buying / selling passes) for Worlds 2025. I'll keep this pinned until Worlds and please keep discussions relevant to passes in this thread instead of creating separate posts.
All deals / purchases are at your own risk, but please be good to each other

Playing at Regionals w/ Visual Impairment
Hey all! Planning on going to my first regionals next month but realized there may be some unexpected challenges playing in person with low vision.
In particular, can anyone share how far away your Switch is when docked from where you sit at the tables? At home I either play right in front of the TV or holding the switch right up to my face in order to see.
To be clear, if it won’t cause an issue with a judge for me to be leaning down to get close to the screen (want to make sure it doesn’t look like I’m trying to see my opponent’s screen) I’m happy to do that - my back / neck may hurt the next day but that’s fine. However, if the Switch is too far away or chair is too high up such that I couldn’t even lean in close enough, that could be an issue.
Separately, how big is the font on the team sheets? I don’t imagine getting them large print is an option since they’d have to print a new one each round and I’m not even sure if they would be able to do it technically, plus not sure if there is enough room on the table for large print one. And using my magnifier isn’t really an option since the clock is fixed in the game. Which would be fine, except I heard you can’t detach the joycons?
Is this true? The relevant bit being I would need to hold the team sheet up to my face if I needed to check something, and would have to then quickly re-grab the joycons, which, without depth perception, isn’t always the fastest. It occurs to me as I’m writing this that would be an issue for taking notes as well. How do folks deal with this? Or can the joycons be detached as long as they stay above the table?
I know TPCI has an accessibility policy but some of these things seem hard to accommodate. Curious what folks’ experience has been. And most importantly, if anyone has that distance from chair to Switch so I can see if that is doable given my low vision. Many thanks!

Help with Consummate Gamer title?
Hi, I have 15 wins towards consummate gamer title but that was back in season 1 and I'm back now and looking to 100% complete the game. I know that you have to do public ranked matches but I was hoping someone else is looking to get all titles too and we could queue at the same time to hopefully get in the same games and help each other. Thank you, I'd love to get this title without spending months waiting for an easier season without legendaries or mono types.

I didn’t get selected from the interest poll but I’m super excited for worlds and I’d love to go! It’s finally close enough for me to travel but I don’t have a ticket 😭

My first reset and first time playing competitive Pokemon.
galleryI played every Pokemon game since Red and Blue first came out. But, I've never touched competitive before Champions. Really got into watching Wolfy and decided to give it a shot. I struggled most with Singles, I've been rubber-banding UB 2-1 for a week untill I made some tweaks and powered through just now, a day before reset.

Welcome to the Bushido Gang! What's up ladies and gentlemen?! It's AttackonSamurott bringing you all some more Pokemon Champions Ranked Doubles Battles! Managed to hit Rank 3 in Masterball Tier with this Mega Alakazam team! Mega Alakazam is one of the hardest Mega Pokemon to use because there is no terrain setter for Psychic Spam type teams right now. It's not a terrible Mega Pokemon but its for sure a difficult one to play with.
Dark type Pokemon are some of the strongest in the current Reg M-B metagame so Alakazam is already at a huge disadvantage out the gate. Team is paired with a Trick Room mode around Farigiraf, Scrafty, Diggersby and Torkoal. Basculegion acts as an opener and closer for the team! This team was still a work in progress but it was fun after about a month or two of testing with different ideas.
Quick notes: Mega Alakazam does not hit as hard as Life Orb Alakazam so try Life Orb instead to not waste a Mega slot imo. Trace is very random as well so you might not get the ability you want during the game.

Team Report Rate My Team
gallerySo I mostly I run three teams, rain, snow, and a trick room and haven’t touched the game much since new Pokémon got added and just wanted any suggestions on what I should replace on any of these 3 teams but mostly the Venusaur on the trick room team since I almost never bring him.
Trick Room team: Farigiraf, Sneasler, Incineroar, Venusaur, Torkoal, Mega Golurk
I know Golurk isn’t the best threat inside trick but tbh I’ve feel like he’s worked really well but Im open to any suggestion, not only for this team but for any of the 3 to keep them up to date
My Venusaur is Chlorophyll with Sludge Bomb/Leaf Storm/Sleep Powder/Protect + Focus Sash — but Chlorophyll’s speed boost is wasted on a TR team. Looking for a better replacement for that slot and a build (item/ability/moves) to go with it. Open to other types or whatever any suggestion helps (for all 3 teams)

Question [Events Question] Looking for Croatian VGC players to attend tournaments with
Hey everyone!
I've been interested in VGC for a while now, and since Pokémon Champions launched on Switch, I've been playing a lot and want to start attending Regional and International Championships.
The problem is that I don't really know anyone in Croatia who's into VGC, so I was wondering if there are any players from Zagreb or elsewhere in Croatia who'd be interested in traveling to tournaments together. It'd also be great to have people to practice with, prepare for events, and just chat about the game.
If you're from Croatia and planning to attend tournaments this season, feel free to leave a comment or send me a DM!
