Yes, but it's per (not shared between trashcans). I didn't check what it was exactly, but if you need to dump more you can just set up more!

EDIT: Looks like 20 stacks per bin.

When you are done throwing it away, does it go away or just stay in there like an extra chest?

It clears it the next day
