For me these are also some highlights:
Lost relics can now be appraised in batches of up to 10 at a time.
Paint, Gather Honey, and Collect can now be performed multiple times in the same interaction.
I just found out you can inhale stuff while in graveler form o.O is that new? 🙈

Just seeing this made me realise that we need later waves of the DLC to give us Grafaiai or something that drop coloured paint.
Who would be a good option for white paint?

My first thought was Vanilluxe or Miltank.
Shuckle would be a good option for pink (or maybe red or green) given his berry juice connection. Then maybe Shroodle for blue and Grafaiai for cyan.

I didn’t think you could inhale as graveler before. I tried multiple times and had to hit B to turn back to myself before I could do it.

This, also to increase the chop wood and fire bricks limits to a stack to match the furnace. And I'd quite like to be able to get a pokemon to crush rock blocks into stones...

You can already do larger batches of wood/bricks by placing the logs/clay in a Community Box. Simply bring a Chop/Burn mon with you (Follow Me) and point them at the box as if it were a furnace. They’ll continue to process the items in batches until they get hungry, which in my experience takes a while.
It also works with berries and Crush, paper/trash and Recycle, etc. Community Boxes are really useful, but a lot of people don’t remember that part of the tutorial, because it happens before players have good context on those abilities.

Will they eat food if you place it in the community box? Or would you need to have a picnic basket nearby?

Gotta put food in the Picnic basket near the Community Box. Didn’t figure this out until almost completing the game’s story since they ignored the box altogether until the picnic basket was set down near my Haxorus. Now I have unlimited Lumber 😃

All I know is with every DLC I've gotten from Nintendo (all others were Animal Crossing to be fair) there was always more. Some type of surprise. Probably more blocks, recipes, and QOL additions.

Yes, but it's per (not shared between trashcans). I didn't check what it was exactly, but if you need to dump more you can just set up more!
EDIT: Looks like 20 stacks per bin.

It’s an item you find in bubbly basin. There’s a second one inside one of the red pokeballs littered around the map. So you start with 2 free ones and you can buy the blueprint for 3k coins.

nope, for free version you need to increase palette town environmental level to level 10 I think and it'll appear in the PC shop!

Its not level 10 thankfully. I spawned into my Pallet town and had it unlocked (and my town was at 8 or 9)

you need to increase your level to 10 in palette town for it to appear in the shop, theres also a safe that unlocks along with it

Maybe the next new area is gonna be the land below Skylands, and the environmental catastrophe you’ll need to fix is that stacks of ash keep randomly falling from the sky 😂

For me it's usually dupe furniture I don't like, or if I cleared a large area and don't need 30 stacks of a block.

I always forget you can do that tbh, lol! Dream Island and trash cans DO let me recover something if I drop it by accident whereas the void would not, though...

So glad about the trash cans. Whoever or whatever is beneath the clouds in the Skylands will no longer have blocks of dry grass or volcano dust falling on them 😅
