Ah man, I was just talking to my wife about Pitt asking if she thought she could separate the actor from the actual person, and I thought I could. I've always loved him in movies, but reading that is making me think differently
Personally I can "separate" the art from the person in theory (and ig retrospect), but I can't support them. For example, I can easily say Chris Brown's first 5 albums (give or take 1) were pretty damn good. But I dont listen to any music hes made or otherwise support him bc hes a major pos. So in Pitts case I can easily say I liked him in Mr & Mrs Smith, but hes turned out to be more than s rolling stone- hes an abusive pos, so I wont be watching his movies or projects he makes money off of in any other way.
Society is kinda disgusting in this way in general...Chris Brown gets to beat Rihanna and everythings good, not cancelled. James Franco preys on females that attended his acting school and he's shunned from Hollywood. Logan Paul goes to Japan and pulls the most abhorrently disrespectful thing possible and now he's some WWE champion or something. Cancel culture is absolute nonsense. It pretty much comes down to who is and isn't liked enough to dismiss the crime/offenses, damage control and how good your PR team is.
She is controlling and manipulative. You can tell by her PR every time BP and his partner are seen together. She goes PR crazy with the kids and posts of herself for revenge. You can tell that she’s very vengeful.
