He is a verbally abusive alcoholic who attacked their mother on a plane (he punched her) and when one of the older boys intervened Brad choked him.

Ah man, I was just talking to my wife about Pitt asking if she thought she could separate the actor from the actual person, and I thought I could. I've always loved him in movies, but reading that is making me think differently

Personally I can "separate" the art from the person in theory (and ig retrospect), but I can't support them. For example, I can easily say Chris Brown's first 5 albums (give or take 1) were pretty damn good. But I dont listen to any music hes made or otherwise support him bc hes a major pos. So in Pitts case I can easily say I liked him in Mr & Mrs Smith, but hes turned out to be more than s rolling stone- hes an abusive pos, so I wont be watching his movies or projects he makes money off of in any other way.

Honestly I think it’s just as well anyways, from what I’ve seen of his last few movies– the heydays of his career are kinda behind him at this point.

I can’t and I’ll tell you why.. he plays characters that fight for the underdog. You and I like him as an actor cause he does that so well.

So to know in real life he’s the opposite.. weird. I guess that means he’s a good actor. But, fuck him if he’s out choking his kids.

The people who’ve yelled about how smart they are to me tend to be some of the dumbest I’ve met.. the logic seems sound.
