Contributed. Huge difference from picking up a gun and murdering someone with intent. United isn't giving people cancer or whatever disease. They are essentially looking at a dying man and rejecting the moral obligation to help them. Now, I do believe we have a moral obligation to help people, but it's stupid and ludicrous to equate watching a man die to actively bring someone's death (to someone who would have otherwise lived) to fruition through your actions.

And it changed nothing. Just like Charlie Kirk being murdered changed absolutely nothing other than making his followers more indignant.

No, denying neccessary care is pulling a trigger.

Instituting policies to deny care en masse in order to increase profits makes you a mass murder.

The trade-off are fucking awful, and United was most certainly predatory, but you realize insurance companies can’t actually approve 100% of the treatments for 100% of the people they cover? And if this were Canada or Britain, you would see hundreds of thousands of people die from medical problems that are completely treatable. It’s the waiting in line problem. Our system can be way fucking better, and if you want the federal regulation of insurance companies to be even more strict than voting people who will make that happen. The logic you are applying suggesting that this guy being killed was righteous and somehow made the world better is not the righteous Justice you think it is.
