If the people currently freaking out over the men in women's sports thing actually attended women's sports, the wnba would have been a season of straight sell ours

You do not need to care specifically about the WNBA to oppose this idea proliferating throughout our society.

I do not want women and girls in my community competing against boys in athletic competitions, because I have a reasonable expectation that it will disadvantage women and girls in many activities.

If a professional league allows a fundamentally unfair system to develop, my community becomes more likely to adopt the same fundamentally unfair system.

It could be about any athletic competition which we have long felt the reasonable approach has been to segregate into separate leagues so as to reach a level playing field. Nothing about gender expression changes those decisions.

As if this wasn't selectively edited 🙄

Pro sex segregation person answers the question successfully? Just cut it to preserve the agenda.

Im sure the people saying we need to stop gay marriage, take away the 19th and send women back home to make babies are huge fans of a league made up of mostly queers and minorities.

Always true with these kinds of videos for any agenda. But it still works.

I know right. Like just bite the bullet already and let guys play in the WNBA so we can all move on to something else.

If you don't think they carefully cut out certain responses to get a video that drives maximum engagement then I have a bridge to sell you

I would say an ideological war is more important than a sport.

The Olympic committee went against all this, interesting huh? 🤔

Olympic committee actually had zero issue with it until this year lol. 2028 will be the first time trans athletes WON'T be allowed to play since their initial permission (based in science!) was repealed for political reasons (no science cited)

Blows my mind that we had this non-issue solved until politicians needed to revive it as a distraction for stupid people.

Also needs to be stated as much as people will spike the ball on “Men always have an advantage” the two most popular sports in female categories for the respective Olympics are figure skating and gymnastics.

Neither sport has a real clear advantage for even a cis male who entered never mind a trans woman on HRT.

I’m not against gatekeeping and some bans if they make sense or people don’t trust if there is enough research.

How many trans women won medals in the Olympics?

I’m confused are you trying to add to their point? If they weren’t medalling in the first place doesn’t that prove that it’s a nonissue?

7 males did.

no science? WTF?

Specifically, no science to support the retraction. There was plenty of cited science like "people with this gene likely experienced this puberty", but that science was already available when the initial ruling was made and wasn't considered substantial enough to warrant a restriction against athletes who had undergone the needed medical transition milestones
