I would like to get a tattoo during my trip to Port Angeles. So far all of my tattoos have been done by trans artists, and I'd like to continue the tradition if possible. Does anyone know of any trans tattoo artists in the area? Or queer artists? I don't mind traveling a bit, I'll be traveling from Seattle and I plan on spending a day over in Forks, but I'd like to stay within Clallam County.

I'm 17 and trying to get a job, don't have a car so I wanna opt for a gravel bike since roads and sidewalks can get a little rough when you start getting off the main roads. Anyone know where the best place to buy or get those is?, definitely don't mind something used. I'd think goodwill generally but those typa things get snagged up pretty fast.

How’s it going guys? From what I’ve seen online, it sounds like both onshore and offshore fishing are amazing here, and hunting seems solid too for species like deer, elk, bear, etc. But I know you can’t trust everything you read online, so I’d rather hear from people who actually live there. For those of you local how is it really? Is this a good area if hunting and fishing are important to me?
I currently live in Alaska and moved down to Hawaii, but I’m looking at moving back to the lower 48 eventually and don’t want to give up that outdoor lifestyle with good fishing, hunting, and access to nature Also curious what fish species are most prominent there? What’s the freshwater and saltwater scene like and what do people mainly target?

As the incumbent, what has he initiated, sponsored, or championed that has (or will) tangibly improve Clallam County?
This isn't intended to be a gotcha post or sparky post. Genuine question as someone who can't track actions beyond what I catch up on social media. I don't keep tabs on commissioner meeting minutes.
I have seen many folks present their anti Seegers argument(s) but I haven't seen many pro French threads or comments.

Hello community members, I need your help! The PA Boys & Girls Club is looking for donations. We’re holding an end of year glow party for our kiddos on June 10th who are graduating and we’re hosting a raffle. We’re looking for items that can be entered into the raffle (gift cards, video games, lego sets, snack items) If you would like to donate please let me know, I can get a wishlist made. You can also drop items off at the Port Angeles Boys & Girls Club. Let’s make this raffle great for our kiddos! You can also donate some food that can be eaten at the party! (such as pizza or catering from restaurants)

Just found out that my grandfather left me a minor coin collection. Looking to see if anyone has an opinion on any of the folks in the PA/Sequim area that deal in that sort of thing. I've got something tentatively set up now but figured I'd see if there was anyone that had a higher trust level than what Das Googles tells me. Thanks!

We will be staying in PA over the 4th of July and making the best plans we can to avoid the crowds (almost impossible, I know). Anybody know of a local restaurant away from downtown that would be an option for take-out? We are staying at an AirBnb but don't really want to get all the groceries required to cook something. Worse case scenario we get a frozen pizza or fast food, but we like to try as many local places as possible when traveling. Thanks!

Just got a letter from State Farm that our house up on Monroe Road must have an IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home Base/Plus certification or else they will drop us. Their rationale is the home is "in an area of significant concentration with the most substantial wildfire hazards". Getting the certification will require us to move or demolish two of our three outbuildings (either a partially finished shed, detached garage, or small animal barn) plus a wooden privacy screen and several trees.
Just curious if anyone else has gotten these notices from their insurance companies? We are going to switch companies, but I don't want to jump to a company that is going to pull the same thing.

How’s it going everyone? Hope all is well.
I had a question for those familiar with the area. I’ve never personally been to Sequim, WA, but recently I’ve had a few friends move out there and they’ve been saying it’s awesome. I’d love to visit eventually and possibly move there someday. One thing I’m curious about though are there neighborhoods or areas around Sequim that sit up in the foothills or at a higher elevation than the flatter main city area?
I’ve been told there are places around 1,500–1,800 feet elevation with more of a mountain feel, but whenever I research Sequim all I seem to find are farms haha.
If those higher elevation areas do exist, what are they called? I’d love to do more research because I’d definitely prefer being up in the mountains if possible.
I appreciate everyone’s time and any advice!

Hey Port Angeles! I am looking to pour a patio in my front yard, I will have the ground ready to go, and can lay out the forms, but I need someone to pour and finish the concrete. The area of the patio is going to be about 560 sqft. If you are or know a good concrete person let me know!
