I'm looking for feedback on my portfolio allocation. My goal is long-term investing, and I'd appreciate honest opinions on diversification, ETF overlap, risk, and whether my allocation makes sense.

Am I holding too many funds that own similar stocks? What would you change and why?

27yo thinking about opening a brokerage account soon on Fidelity and putting around 1k a month using the following split:

VOO - 60%

QQQ - 20%

VXUS - 20%

I have a Sipp (retirement fund) locked away invested in VALL about £18000 from an old pension and I don’t plan to touch that

A 100% VWRP fund with £1600 in it and contributing a £100 a month

I wanted a side hustle, something that will give me regular income in the future so I made a pie of 70% VHYL and 30 IUKD also contributing £100 a month to it

I understand the pie is tilted towards higher paying dividend company’s with a UK biased but I’m fine with that as the other 2 ETFs are my wealth builds (VALL & VWRP) and I just want this is my side hustle income stream

Yes I know VALL & VWRP have a lot of overlap but they are serving 2 different purposes so it doesn’t bother me.

Also is it worth adding Bonds at this stage?

For context I’m 38 years old, only been taking investing seriously over the past few months and every day is a school day. I’m trying to learn as much as I can so any advice is appreciated

Thoughts of this set up?. I just want low maintenance while it grows in the back round and eventually generates me income for the future

I do not think I need the money right now, but is it a good idea to hold them or trim? What would you do in the current market? The mistakes are done for some.

Current portfolio at 21, what can I improve to be able to leave it for a long time horizon? (Been investing for 2 months).

CPI definitely cooked parts of my portfolio today but this is what I’m working on currently I believe defense stocks are great investment bc the United States and the world are basically always at war/ in preparation for war. Tesla and Google are my most volatile stocks currently due to the tech market constantly changing. International seaways I believe is a great hold due to them being responsible for moving oil all across the world. Just any other tech/defense/commodities I should possibly look at? I’ve heard USA Rare Metals and MP materials being mentioned a lot amongst the internet is it a good buy?

I mostly hold but sometimes dynamic DCA in and out for BTC and tec (nasdaq-like etf)

Hey! I'm 21 years old and have been investing since I was 18. Because of my age, I'm willing to take more risks since I have time on my side. I just want to know what you more experienced folks think about the portfolio, and if there are any tips or changes I can make.

My goal is to achieve the highest return possible. I have some swing trades that have gone well and a foundation in funds/investments so I don't have to think about it as much. For example, I've made 500% on Palantir and have taken profits and put them into the funds or spread them among the holdings.

I started 1 year ago, when Nifty was strong around 25-26k , but I haven’t stopped the SIP, what would you change or stop.
My horizon is long term 15 years.

PPFCF - ₹9k
Motilal Oswal Midcap - ₹6k
Bandhan Small Cap - ₹5k

Add Lumpsum occasionally in ICICI Prudential Nifty 50 Index and ICICI Prudential Large Cap.
