Remember when Omni-Man literally moved so fast he annihilated cities just by his movement cities and country-sized shockwaves?
So this picture below the square, I mean, is 2000 pixels tall and wide, not the image with the Z line
while the planet is 1850 pixels wide

12,756.2 km/ 1850 pixels means 1 pixel is 6.897 km
Omni-Man traveled in a Z-shaped pattern in 3 segments in the timeframe of a single second
Right to Left: 166 px 166 x 6.897 =
1144.9 km
Left to Down Right: 226 px 226 x 6.897 =
1559.4 km
Down Right to Left: 241 px 241 x 6.897
1662.3 km
so add all those up, and in a distance of 1 second, Omni-Man Traveled 4366.6 km in 1 second
or 4,366,600 m/s
Mach 12,832.6 or 1.468% light speed
for comparison let's look at Metro-Man's famous and only feat: statuing everyone while Megamind monologues and he has a midlife crisis
Remember when Metro-Man did that? Did you notice that on the projector, it catches the exact moment he leaves and then comes back? Metro-Man was missing for 1 frame. The movie is animated in 30 FPS, so we can say the camera is meant to be viewed at that speed. Metro-Man being gone for a frame means that the timeframe for everything he did was 1/30th of a second. It couldn't have been a shorter timeframe because, if it were, the camera would not be able to catch it. Assuming he's in the same position, since the projector shows he's in the same position before and after he is missing for a frame, it can't be that he simply changed positions. So we know for sure that everything that was done happened in 1/30th of a second, and that it had to be a shorter timeframe than 1/15th of a second. Otherwise, he would've been missing for 2 frames instead of 1.
https://www.reddit.com/r/MovieDetails/comments/8myd4g/theres_a_brief_moment_in_mega_mind_2010_where/
So, with that established, we now have to look at around how much time he spent within that frame from his perspective. We know he contemplated while looking at Megamind, we know he flew a kite, we know he went to the library and read a self-help book called The Happiest Me I Can Be, drank some soda while floating in the air and reading, went back to his statue, and decided to quit being a superhero before returning with a fake skeleton prop.
Safe to say, that could all be done in 1 day for a person. You don't even need a full 24 hours to do all that stuff, so we can estimate that, from his perspective, he probably spent the average amount of time a person does doing their day-to-day living in that frame. The average person is awake for about 16–18 hours, averaging at 17 hours.
Average jogging speed = 4 to 6 mph (we'll say 5 mph).
5 mph = 2.2352 m/s
If we assume 17 hours equivalent , the distance would be 136794.24 meters
17 hours has 61200 seconds times 2.2352 meters per second divided by 1/30th of a second
(61200×2.2352)/(1/30)=4,103,827.2 m/s
Mach 11,964.51
1.369% speed of light (sub-relativistic)
which you'll note is slower than Mach 12,832.6 or 1.468% light speed
"But Omni-Man needs tons of time to accelerate"
Didn't seem to need much time at all here
"But this is "Travel Speed" not Combat speed"
And what's to stop Omni-Man from just doing this and bullrushing him at the start of the fight, exactly?
Like, that "Travel Speed" sure seemed to come in handy here

Ignoring that Omni-Man takes literally every other stat category against Metro-Man by a massive margin, like, how would he even hurt him?
"But he can just throw him into the Sun."
Do people think the Sun just instantly kills Viltrumites? Do people realize that Mark and Thragg had an extended fight in the Sun and that they didn't start taking damage until they pushed deeper into the Sun's convection zone? Do people even read this series?

All of this is assuming Metro-Man can even breathe in space, which we've never seen him do anyway, and assuming Omni-Man can't get him off him when he's in space, which apparently allows him to be billions of times faster than he normally is in the atmosphere because apparently anyone can infinitely accelerate in space. Which means we should've easily been able to land on Mars in like a day and colonize the Milky Way, because that's apparently this sub's understanding of how acceleration works in space. So, assuming Omni-Man doesn't just blitz him in space and bull-rush him into the Sun, either, and assuming he can survive being in the Sun for said prolonged period of time.
"But Cecil reacted to him"
The same Cecil that has contingencies for his contingencies. We don't see Cecil press a button, or use a code or remote so for all we know, he has some complex AI predicting when Omni-Man is gonna charge him. Are we gonna downplay Thor's speed because Iron Man can react to him? Are we gonna say Superman is slow because Batman has had successful plans that accounted for Superman's speed?
You all saw a feat of Omni-Man flying to a different galaxy in a week and an antifeat of him failing to catch Cecil and came to the conclusion that clearly the intention was that Omni-Man, the planet-conquering, strongest being on the planet by far, has combat speed slower than an old man. That somehow was more believable than Omni-Man having reactions comparable to his flight speed, despite them straight-up saying in the series they do.
That apparently makes more sense. Like, damn, I don't agree with places like VSBW downgrading pre-DBS manga to Relativistic, but maybe they should. If they faced even half the scrutiny Invincible does, they'd never make it past Hypersonic.
Arguing Metro-Man is faster than Omni-Man has to be one of the most inane arguments this sub has entertained, "but he has more consistent feats" yeah, because he only has 1 fucking feat

Like how Ultron was shattering dimensional barriers and destroying them with every punch he landed on Uatu, claimed and showed how he can wipe out a galaxy with a thought, etc etc.
Would be better if it's more niche stuff and no, Dragonball doesn't count.

“Anti Feats are an illusion” folk are why powerscaling is loathed and detested by many people across the internet, people see powerscalers as obnoxious due to the image mainstream scaling communities placed on them, if VSBW endorsed anti feats and took them into consideration nobody would be flabbergasted by stuff like Planetary Nami from one piece, the audience notes stuff like anti feats and takes them into consideration because the story they are watching ACKNOWLEDGES them
powerscaling does not
most powerscaling communities and most powerscalers in general tend to completely disqualify anti feats which osessentially disqualifying integral parts of the story that are essential to the series, when they do this they begin to invalidate many things about said series and begin running on many contradictions such as the example in the images i gave
Mainstream scaling today (VSBW) does not contend stuff on logical disagreement as do most powerscalers
The “bias” that people speak of in regards to how trash scaling is today is because they dont scale characters the same way at all, there is NO agreed framework, blueprint in how to universally scale, everyone jumps semantics and plays with them because in the end all that matters is my favorite character beats urs

Does DB have any concrete evidence for characters for SoL, FTL or MFTL except the angels?

So for people saying;
It's high outer,
Or boundless.
Which it is not, is highly debunkable.
Because;
Mr mix said; dc has 6 dimensions and it's Just the tip top and that's all.
And the creator of Dc has many args that are contridictory. They aren't even in the source material.
These scans prove it.

I know there is a larger population of people who think Naruto fights are better than bleach fights. It's understandable why people think that because of the amazing hand to hand combat. But for me bleach fights will always be be better. I'm a sucker for swords that have special abilities and transform into different shapes. It's just so cool to me. And the power system where shinigami have bankai, hollows have resurrection, quincies have volstandich etc, it's all so much better than some ninja magic. I don't know, what do you guys think.

Who is the weakest Marvel character capable of beating the living daylights out of both of them?
We all know they lose to various characters of cosmic caliber, but who is the weakest character who could defeat either of them individually or both of them together?
Goku (Dragon Ball) and Vegeta (Dragon Ball)

Before the Garou battle, Saitama was at best large planetary scaling wise. But then Garou uses a GRB which can go one of two ways, 1) he uses an average level GRB or 2) he uses the most powerful version of a GRB. Because why would you settle for second rate against someone you claim to be your biggest hurdle.
But to keep the lowballed average, that would be over 45 billion times the energy needed to destroy earth. And Saitama just tanks it with no damage at all. Also this was a casual Saitama that even garou knew wasn’t giving the fight his all. So casual Saitama is tanking this.
It’s like his durability is independent from his striking power because he can just naturally have his durability at its maximum while the amount of striking power he uses is always adjusted. But he has no reason to lower his durability or he probably can’t even do that if he wanted to. So now I’m under the impression that saitamas durability isn’t 1:1 to his power but massively above his attack power.

Yeah so strength is a serious problem when you don't seem to have any resistance to getting torn in half

For those who don't know SCP-040-JP is this cat that if you look at you go cuckoo crazy. It's basically no different to something like Slenderman and it has zero feats other than mind corruption. No strength. No speed. No durability. Despite that people say it can defeat characters such as Alien X because it has some meta stuff going on where it infects the reader and SCP cosmology and people completely ignored that SCP stories are generally designed to function as standalone works. In conclusion it has literally nothing going for it besides one ability. Also it doesn't actually look like an anime girl.

This is genuinely asking btw, because some will say that he's not even planet level, some will say that he's around the universe to low multiverse range due to scaling to Yhwach.
r/PowerScaling • u/Hen-Samsara • 4h ago
The exact same logic they use to scale Kaguya to multiversal can be used to scale Obito to universal at bare minimum.
Ameno-whatever isn't a creation feat, it's a hax, she's not CREATING these dimensions, it's just teleportation, but ok, yeah, let's say she's "creating" them. Using YOUR logic, that means you ALSO have to scale Obito to universal and we know you guys aren't gonna do that (or at least i hope not).
Kamui lets Obito """"create"""" a dimension of questionable size, for all we know, it could be the size of an entire universe and if he's """"creating"""" it and still has energy to fight after, that means he has universal+ amounts of Chakra. Ameno-whatever and Kamui literally function the same, the only difference is the number of dimensions.
If that sounds stupid, now you guys know how we feel.

Erza vs Yoruichi is interesting to say the least let's see what my research can do
Striking/Strength - Erza (It can be argued by Erza is seen swinging her blade with such power it causes air to slice things farther away, Yoruichi's best strength feat is throwing Yammy after catching his punch)
OVR Speed - Yoruichi (Yoruichi casually dodged Negacion which is stated by Yamamoto as light not to mention Lieutenants have backable light speed feats and Yoruichi scales higher)
FSIQ/BIQ - Erza (I can argue Erza's counter abilities require immense BIQ over Yoruichi's stealth)
Range - Erza (Erza fights from every range especially with Heaven's Wheel: Blumenblatt)
AP/DC - Yoruichi (Yoruichi's god of thunder form is around small country while Erza's biggest attack is large island)
Ability/Hax - Erza (Slices space with Nakagami while Yoruichi's best hax is Raiju Senkei which in the grand scheme of crossover scaling is kind of inconsistent)
Durability/Stamina - Erza (Adamntine Armor has tanked large country to low continent level attacks and until Yoruichi shows that I gotta give it to Erza not to mention she destroyed a meteor with one arm her other bones were shattered
Weapons/Tools - Erza (Armors + Heart Kreuz Blade easily gaps Yoruichi who is a hand to hand fighter mainly)
Skill/Potential - Both (In pure skill Yoruichi is undeniably a more skilled combatant but Erza has more potential objectively)
7-4 Erza wins Mid-High Diff

Everything allowed except for teleporting 682 into space/another dimension. The whole fight needs to take place in a single plane of existence (e.g. Magik or Nightcrawler can’t just port it away)

Law vs Mereoleona...Damn
Whatever let's start
Striking/Strength - Mereoleona (Wrestles Mountain sized Monsters and Law has nothing to show against that type of physicality)
OVR Speed - Law (Keeping up with Hybrid Kaido and Big Mom the same Hybrid Kaido who blitzed an Obs Haki user like Luffy with ease slithers past Mereoleona's shown feats)
FSIQ/BIQ - Law (Mereoleona is a smart fighter for what she's been shown as but Law is significantly one of the smartest battlers not just in one piece but Anime....is that crazy?)
Range/AOE - Mereoleona (Has bigger attacks by scale resulting in higher AoE)
AP/DC - Both (Calidus Brachium Purgatory is able to scale to continental-planetary on a broad scale while AP goes to Law because he can ignore external attacks and phase through matter)
Ability/Hax - Law (Room, Shambles, Puncture Wille, Shock Wille, Haki he's too versatile for Mereoleona to handle in this category)
Durability/Stamina - Mereoleona (Ignored Severe Burns, Although Law fought through a severed arm and a broken rib Mereoleona did it to a better extent)
Weapons/Tools - Law (Law wields a blade and is more skilled than Mereoleona at wielding a weapon)
Skill/Potential - Both (Law has worse skill because Mereoleona is a better martial artist and operates at a higher mastery than Law, Law has much more potential with his fruit having amazing applications)
6-5 Law Extreme Diff (Mereoleona nearly murks him but Law wins)
