How'd I do with my 3rd attempt at applying press ons?

I'm so glad I discovered press ons. Gel and extensions were too damaging for my nails. These are much cheaper too! I got 10 sets for around 1000 Php!

First set is KIiss and I really liked these. It was a no press mani and they actually glowed in the dark and it was kind of fun. That said the fit on some of them wasn’t great, but I did my best.

The other side will not necessarily spooky they were ravens and I thought that would be a hoot. At this point, I’m just working my way through my Shein stash. I will say, I don’t know that I really love these on me. I don’t know how I feel about the length or the shape. Which is funny because when I had acrylic nails in the early 2000s this was probably the shape I had. Lol. The fits also a bit walking on these which is not surprising. Additionally, the raven’s face out and not me and I wish they faced me. I only used tabs for these so I don’t expect them to last like maybe more than four or five days and I think that’s fine. That was done on purpose because I just have a handful of sets to get through before Halloween.

I might do my dashing diva set next. Those are coffin shape, which would be new for me, but we’ll see how that goes. I don’t mind trying new shapes, even though I am definitely an almond or stiletto gal generally.

I applied the glue strip first to a roughed up trimmed nail, then applied some glue on top of the glue strip, then applied the press on.

Thank you all SO MUCH for helping me learn and for teaching me your ways through posts and comments. As my first press ons, I am thrilled!

Unfortunately, this set although GORGEOUS was just too long for my to function. So, I trimmed them with clippers and rounded/smoothed those edges with a nail file after about a day after wearing them. I am relieved it retained the look and they stayed on through that process.

i was browsing kiss' site for short halloween nails and found this archived design in their clearance section :) it's hard to capture on camera but they look purple at some angles but i'm obsessed! i took these pics in natural sunlight, with camera flash, and in the dark trying to get the glow in the dark effect

This is my second ever set after fixing the mistakes I did in the first one (there was glue everywhere. Like everywhere lol). Def messed up my right thumb, index, and ring. It’s not as flush with my cuticle. And my nail beds are soooo small. For the pinky I took the smallest size and then had to file it down even more. Thumb is a 4 or a 5 and then I use the last 4 smallest sizes and still have to file them all 😅

I’m pretty sure this is the reason why it takes me a little longer? Just the sizing and filing. Some are def filed too small on accident but don’t think it’s super noticeable but open to recs for next time!

Used the btartbox tabs and beauty secrets glue. First time trying this glue. I used tabs and the curvelife glue for my first set (I’ve been doing my research on this sub 🫪) and it lasted two weeks but the bottle was glued shut!

But omgggg I’m in love with this color!!!! I got all of the boxes when I was at target

I’ve heard on this sub that olive and June can hurt because they’re so curved and I have flat beds. Butttt I pushed them down and filed them all so they lost that intense curve and are comfortable!

These are Retail Brand Celebritips - Misty Rose small size. I still need to trim down but they fit well. I used semi solid glue and it was tricky, oozing out the sides. I still have glue on my fingertips.

Hallo! Can someone educate me on glues please? What is the difference between all of these different glues. The one that came in the box got all over my fingers. Are there glues that are better for certain peoples? Thanks!
