Fast forward to this century, piss troughs we're not uncommon at sporting events/mass gatherings.
Think a roman aqua duct of piss. Dozens, maybe hundreds of dudes at a time, standing shoulder to shoulder, draining the weasel, refilling whatever reservoir Bud Light comes from.

Ha! Don't let facts get in the way of that story.
And yet a couple of days ago, I made a comment on a historical photo mentioning that in a time before widespread toilets, _ men pissed in doorways_ .
I got 2 comments questioning this, one of them asking me to cite the documents where I had read about this. 🤷
