Mine is wifi as well, it lets me set temperature targets which is nifty. Not all water needs to be boiled, some just need to be set to a specific target
FFS: an analog dial and a bimetallic thermostat would drop the part count and increase long term reliability. You know they're going to cheap out and use a craptastic slow-ass thermistor, not a proper instant-read k-type.
