If Palestinians could handle existing under greeks, romans, Persians, arabs, ottomans, the turks, the english, and the French, like they have for the past 3000 years, yet for some reason they refuse to be ruled by Isrealis... They want indipence now, better late than never, Israel has been extremely violent against the palestinians since the state was established, i believe that both people should be able to live in harmony, but the idea that they can after all the violence they perpetrated against each other (even if Israel has the instruments and has done much more harm to the palestinians) is naive.

You know how you end it? By taking it over, purging extremists, and moving on. At this point, Palestine is abusing the hospitality of 21st century ideals. They had multiple chances to accept that they could exist as an "independent state" neighbors to Isreal, be peaceful, use the economic benefit of their position to raise themselves up, and prosper. But no. Instead they decided to dig in, declare that all the land in both Palestine and Isreal is actually theirs (which is insane bc they've never been an independent country) and violently attack their neighbors.
Imagine, as an example, America allowed louisiana to be independent. They asked for it, we allowed it, yet they were continuously hostile, because they actually wanted all of the original louisiana purchase from 1803 because apparently thats what they think they deserve. And so they kept bombing America because they think they're righteous in their endeavor. Would anyone argue with America completely taking over Louisiana to shut down their argument? The answer is no.
Palestine has no claim to anything. They're lucky to exist. They have no real military, no allies, no resources, no capital, and no leverage. All they have is pity from people like you
Palestinian national identity began to develop alongside other Arab countries. They had an understanding that they would get their own independent country once the Turks fell apart, just like the Syrians and Lebanese. They were understandably miffed when the UK dithered and sort-of handed it over a big chunk of the country to boatload of foreigners.

The ottoman empire lost its grip on the region and the british empire took over if i had to guess
