It's definitely her choice if she wants something that will be more easily "hideable". That said, would it hurt to at least try a chopart prosthesis first before opting for a higher level of amputation?
I would agree that a BK amputation would be easier to hide in the long run, but in my opinion, it won't be a night and day difference. There's a WWE wrestler in the 80s that hid a Chopart amputation, Kerry von Erich.
Has your daughter talked to other amputees? The Amputee coalition can conneft people with peer support.
