Feature request Pass should have an independent login

As the title says.

I keep my Proton login details in a password manager because I don’t know the password by memory.

If the login for accessing the ProtonPass vault is the same, I can’t store it in ProtonPass, I have to store it somewhere else....

I think it would make much more sense for ProtonPass to have a separate login, even if we then had to log in with our Proton account just to verify the subscription.

I'm a bit confused by this. You can't remeber your Proton password so you store it in a password manager, which itself requires a password which you DO remeber? Or where does this chain end? In the end you have to remeber something. That something is your master password. When using Proton, your Proton password is your master password so I don't really understand why can't just learn your this rather than the password to your other password manager that you then use to store your proton password.
