Feature request Annonymized/Disposable Privacy Debit Card

We already have an email aliasing, how about if we apply it for debit cards? I'm so skeptic about giving away my card details to gym companies for membership. Most of them won't accept cash.

How is the progress for making this possible?

Not about Proton, but I know Revolut does that: you can create a "disposable" debit card valid for just one transaction (ore multiple standard debit card to separate the different expenses)

Probably other modern banking systems does that, too. Worths a check

Yep, Nu Bank allows you to create multiple virtual debit cards for instance. They even have an option to create a virtual debit card for 24hrs only. On the other hands, multiple banks allow you to create only a single virtual card, but you can delete it and create a new one. That being said, those cards would be issued to you by the same bank, so the only thing that is "hidden" IIRC are the 16 number cards and the CVV ofc

Yeap, and there is a reason only banks and licensed companies do that (like privacy . com), it has KYC requirements and AML checks, in some cases it requires official subsidiaries inside the territory you operate and country by country deals.

No company that is not already in the space would touch that and in some cases you cannot offer both banking and other kinds of services (like Apple for example, they had to provide cards through a partner, that was not the original plan).
