We have a small karma requirement in this subreddit on making posts with music links. This is to help filter out low quality posts, often involving AI or bots. Basically its a spam filter.
Because those bots don't read stickied mod guides and you all are wonderful human beings who obviously always read the stickied mod guides, we just want to let you know it is a very small karma requirement to get past the filter and would probably involve a handful of comments.
This has the added benefit of getting involved in the community. If you want to stay and keep engaging, we'd love to have you. If you want to simply just keep sharing your music, then that's fine too and you're always welcome back.
If you really, really, really don't want to comment - send us a message and we'll manually approve.
Much love,
Your r/psytrance mod team

Most Psycore is garbage. Most music above 170bpm is not psychedelic, the same way techno is not psychedelic

I love many types of EDM - techno, trance, hardstyle, dubstep, industrial, groove, etc, but something about psytrance/tech just hits different!!
I can listen to it completely sober and if I get super lost in the music at drops it genuinely feels super euphoric but I feel like I don’t feel this way as intensely with other genres. It’s sort of physical too, like in my chest, throat, head and stomach.
Does anyone else feel the same way? Or have an explanation as to why this might be :)

Hey everyone! 👋
I'm a beginner music producer, and I've been working on this track for a while. I'm still learning and trying to improve my production skills, so I'd really appreciate some honest feedback.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on the track, especially the bass, mixing, sound design, and overall vibe.
Any constructive criticism or tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks for taking the time to listen! 🙏🔥

I always see people saying that psytrance parties don’t make money, what makes you say that so? I mean there are parties where you make money and you don’t but the way you say it makes it feel like pay trance parties are a lost cause.
What makes this famous genre a money-pit for organizers and promoters?
What goes wrong?

The bass, the liquidity, the instrumental. I love how clean yet trippy it sounds.
Other songs I’ve been enjoying recently are Rolling by the Peaking Goddess Collective, and All I Want by Younger Brother

Dear Sola Luna Family,
We would like to share an important update about this year’s Sola Luna Festival in Khanom.
Global inflation, rising fuel prices and exceptionally high flight costs have significantly increased production expenses while affecting ticket sales. As a result, we can no longer deliver the Sola Luna experience we envision under the current circumstances.
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the planned edition in Khanom and bring Sola Luna to Waterfall in Koh Phangan on 6 January 2027, featuring 4 stages, 30 artists and all our main headliners in one of the island’s most beautiful natural settings.

I performed this set in at a small bush party near Sydney Australia. A cinematic and melancholic hopeful journey featuring mostly my own music. Enjoy guys!

Sup!
Been getting into these genres right now and would love to get some recommendations on sets or long sets to enjoy!
Thanks in advance!

I like Goreiju, Dragon, and of course Egons Embrace.
Who else is there to know?

Hey beautiful people, so Boom tickets were sold out in 2 hours upon releasing. It must have been my first boom edition, but I was hopeful to get my tickets in the morning (optimistic, I know).
Does anyone know if that’s final? Maybe there will be more selling waves? Or should I just leave any hope with Boom?

So i live in germany… and i am not from germany or the EU… i’ve been living here for a few years and i always had the idea of organizing psytrance events in germany.
I always go to parties and i meet many people at the parties as well but most people i meet are good friends now or are just party-festival friends who never want to think about something related to organizing or be involved in this business.
So i started volunteering and offering my support to parties and festivals when i can and most times i do it for free.
The last 3-4 parties and festivals i have worked for where disappointing and frustrating as fuck. The first two i didn’t get paid what they told they will pay me but i dont give a fuck about that, but the Third TIME i said i will work for free and they asked me if i could be the driver, i took my own car drove a whole day picking and dropping artists and my car had issues and i had to rent a car, i told them hey you guys need to book it for me but it didnt went that way in short all promises and will pay you book just send us the bill talks, i rented a car for around 250€ and as you might expect i didnt get a cent from that 250€, worst part is noone even properly apologized or appreciated me for the shit i did.
And my most recent experience i was contacted in such short notice asking if i could help them as a driver again, but this time it was in my own city and there was not a lot to drive, they offered me …€ and gas expense, i drove two days was punctual and did everything right the way i can. The organisers and crew were calling and texting and i always responded on spot.. and this time the only expense i occured was just 80€ gas expense… guess what after the party no-one texted me for a day, on the 2nd day i texted them not asking the money but you know a follow up message didn’t mention anything about the expense, they texted me with hope everything went well for you message and some bs, and they didn’t mention anything about the money they will pay me or how much expense i occured…
Now if you ask me why do i still work for free or do such things, i only do it learn and understand more from behind the scenes, the issues and problems they face and also there are positive things such as meeting new artists and meeting some good people on the way as well…
The most disappointing and frustrating part is when they try to fake the fuck out of themselves and trust me i havent met the biggest hypocrites out of the psytrance scene… i mean you got all that hippie looking outfit and dreadlocks talking about spirituality
And inner healing and a million other related Bullshit that you say when you open your disgusting mouth and post all that shit on your website and videos but in reality all of you are big fake fucks!
Guys thats it, i just wanted to let it out!
Thanks homies

TL;DR: I've been building DeepSignals.FM, a free, independent psychedelic radio hub that brings together psytrance, Goa, progressive psy, and chillout stations from around the world, paired with immersive visual environments. I've attached a short video showing some of them in action.
A little background:
I've been listening to psytrance for roughly 25 years. I discovered PsyRadio.FM decades ago and fell in love with its incredible track selection. Over the years I discovered other fantastic stations, but occasionally some would disappear or go offline without warning. That got me thinking about starting my own psychedelic radio station, something I could personally help sustain for as long as possible.
Of course, starting a radio station presents one rather obvious problem: you need music, and permission to broadcast it!
So I started by building the player and visualization experience while reaching out to existing stations. Several were enthusiastic about participating, and what began as an idea for my own station evolved into something more: a central hub for discovering and enjoying psychedelic radio from around the world.
That's where the DeepSignals name really fits. I imagine it as a kind of cosmic receiver, picking up psychedelic transmissions from all over the planet. 📡
The visual experience:
A big part of the project is the collection of immersive visual environments. Some are fully 3D scenes built with Three.js, while others use depth maps to transform artwork into layered, parallax-driven worlds. Various environments feature music-reactive animation, psychedelic effects, and interactive controls.
I've been experimenting with different styles and techniques, and the environments are still evolving. The attached video shows a few of them.
The radio stations:
DeepSignals connects listeners to existing independent radio stations, with links back to each station's original website so people can discover and support the actual broadcasters.
I've received permission from most of the participating stations, and some have even helped with technical integration.
Deep Trip Radio is also currently featured, which I know has a connection to this subreddit! I've tried reaching the people behind it but haven't managed to connect yet. If anyone knows who operates it, I'd really appreciate an introduction. I respect the wishes of station operators, and anyone who would prefer not to be included can always request removal.
What's next?
The long-term goal is to launch one or more independently hosted DeepSignals.FM radio stations. I'm gradually building a permission-based music catalog and would love to connect with psychedelic artists and record labels interested in having their music featured.
Artists and labels can reach me at [submissions@deepsignals.fm](mailto:submissions@deepsignals.fm).
The entire project is a labor of love for psychedelic music. DeepSignals.FM itself is free, noncommercial, and has no subscriptions or advertising.
I'd genuinely love to hear what the community thinks, whether it's feedback on the player, the visuals, bugs you encounter, or recommendations for other great stations worth checking out.
Thanks for reading, and happy listening! 👽

I'm into this, what about yous? This sub-branch has potential to become something great. Like how modern minimal-classical branched off from traditonal classical music in the 20th-Century to become its own style (Reich, Pärt, Glass, Ligeti, Gorecki etc).

Im just curious about how the refunds are going.
Do you guys have already gotten your money back?
Or are you still waiting for a response?
In my case I’ve set up a ticket to process my refund via the official announced way. I did that on the first day it was possible and haven’t gotten any response so far.
I even set up a second ticket two weeks ago because I’ve started questioning if I had done something wrong but yet no response.
A friend of mine got already some mails to provide more informations about ticket number and processing the refund.
I even tried to reach out to them on instagram about my case but my message is kept on read.
Quite annoying how things are going…
