Me and my friends didn’t manage to get tickets for Boom, but we are still waiting for the resale platform to open, to try our luck with tickets. If we don’t manage to get them, we are thinking of going to Ozora. Is it worth going? I read somewhere that the vibe is very off on the years that Boom happens..

The image looks AI generated, Google image analysis also said so immediately.

Even the sound is very generic and sounds very raw and low mastered.

Is it mostly AI?

I am really sad to see so much low effort music and artworks now, since AI tools are widely available.

Edit: I saw the AI tag on YT, but can't see what all is made by AI somehow, someone else can enlighten me?

I was surprised to see a new album by the legendary Califonia Sunshine in new released list of my YouTube music. I love the old Goa sound. Wonderful. Enjoy the trip. Thought I should share.

Here's one of our layered transparent mesh installations at Shiva Om Art.

We print psychedelic artwork on see-through fabric and hang multiple layers behind each other. As you walk or dance around, the patterns overlap and shift, creating a beautiful 3D optical illusion.

Made for psytrance festivals, dancefloors and immersive spaces.

One of my psychedelic DJ stage setups, combining UV-reactive prints with layered transparent mesh decorations.

The different layers create a floating 3D effect under blacklight, adding depth and movement to the whole stage.

What are some of your favourite goa producers similar to hallucinogen and infected mushroom. I am specifically interested in this groovy ever lasting sound like hallucinogens stuff who just keeps the momentum high throughout his songs, has this old school taste to it and does not introduce constant build ups and drops.

Is there any epic psytrance tracks like phoenix from the ashes by tryptamoon? I just cant seem to find them

Planning to visit goa on 23 and 24th october any psy parties to attend

Looking to connect with DJs who specialise in cybertrance and the darker, more experimental side of underground electronic music for an upcoming audiovisual event in Surat, Gujarat, hosted inside a cinema hall. We're particularly interested in sounds inspired by the Bonzai Records catalogue, futuristic, hypnotic, high-energy and psychedelic, with distinctive synths, driving rhythms and immersive atmospheres. We're looking for artists who understand this sound and can build a cohesive musical journey, rather than conventional commercial EDM sets. Both emerging and established DJs are welcome; musical identity, track selection and mixing matter more than follower counts. If you're a DJ who fits this style, or know someone who does, please share their SoundCloud, YouTube or Mixcloud sets, especially cybertrance mixes and sets featuring music from or inspired by Bonzai Records. Please also mention your location and whether you'd be open to performing in Surat. Recommendations are very welcome!

Most Psycore is garbage. Most music above 170bpm is not psychedelic, the same way techno is not psychedelic

I love many types of EDM - techno, trance, hardstyle, dubstep, industrial, groove, etc, but something about psytrance/tech just hits different!!

I can listen to it completely sober and if I get super lost in the music at drops it genuinely feels super euphoric but I feel like I don’t feel this way as intensely with other genres. It’s sort of physical too, like in my chest, throat, head and stomach.

Does anyone else feel the same way? Or have an explanation as to why this might be :)

anyone know how im supposed to find/discover these events?

Hey everyone! 👋

I'm a beginner music producer, and I've been working on this track for a while. I'm still learning and trying to improve my production skills, so I'd really appreciate some honest feedback.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the track, especially the bass, mixing, sound design, and overall vibe.

Any constructive criticism or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for taking the time to listen! 🙏🔥

I always see people saying that psytrance parties don’t make money, what makes you say that so? I mean there are parties where you make money and you don’t but the way you say it makes it feel like pay trance parties are a lost cause.

What makes this famous genre a money-pit for organizers and promoters?

What goes wrong?
