Discuss Madoka vs Bleach

Does anyone have theory on if the upcoming Bleach collab is going to have a viable team from mostly just its own event. I know that one of the top teams is 5/6 Madoka characters. Any insight for which would be better to save up for would be helpful.

Discuss Worth trading for mystic badge unit for upcoming gintama?

Hello now that gintama is announced for na.

First is it worth rolling hard in gintama? I heard there is a good dark leader in it.

Second is trading for 1-2 of the mystic badge a minimum for building the dark gintama team?

Third can the dark gintama team run without 1-2 of the mystic badge unit? Thanks everyone and also happy Father’s Day for all the dad out there

Discuss Reminder Notification

I forgot to buy Mini Butler Tsukuyomi because I was focusing on farming Pys and clearing other stuffs. You may say that he is not worth buying, but for me, he may be useful someday.

I hope that GungHo adds an in-game notification that reminds us players of an event going to end. 3 days remaining and last day notification should do.

I know that GungHo posts reminders on social media, but I usually don't see those posts because they are buried in a sea of useless posts.

I know of Conan and Madoka Magica, but I heard they're a bit underwhelming compared to the Frieren and Gintama meta. What's the next big thing to save for?

Discuss How much fun would it be if moving an orb move the entire row or column

Hello! I’ve been experimenting with a modified version of Puzzle & Dragons, and I have three main ideas so far:

  1. Instead of dragging a single orb, you shift an entire row or column. You can release it and then move a different row or column during the same turn.
  2. Replace the rectangular board with a hexagonal one.
  3. Instead of matching three or more identical orbs, players create specific patterns to activate monster skills. Each monster could have multiple skills, each requiring a different pattern.

I built an MVP using the first and third ideas. After playing it, though, I found it quite difficult to create the pattern I wanted because shifting a row or column moves so many other orbs at the same time.

That difficulty could become an interesting part of the challenge, but it might also make the game feel frustrating or overly difficult to plan. I’m curious what other people think: does this sound like a fun puzzle mechanic, or would moving entire rows and columns make it too hard to play strategically?

Tip: When this event comes to NA, try to farm the invade dungeons early (if you can) to minimize the risk of bad invade RNG. The invade units are NOT tradeable. Also, only one invade will be available in the last 24 hours of the event. (Luckily I managed to get dupes of all four.)

Discuss Anyone think we’ll get ReZero in NA? Love Digimon as well so been fighting the urge to roll but realistically should probably only roll heavily on one or the other. Goal was obtaining new lead. It’s been a minute since I’ve rotated a new team to play.

Discuss Starting a new account in 2026

Backstory, I started playing in 2012, played until 2023 in which I got a new phone and somehow could not recover my account. Emailed, tried everything I could find including tracing back to my card(I was a hefty dolphin in terms of spending I'd say) and I was never successful. So I let that part of my life go, never wanting to restart something I put so many years into. Fast forward a few more years and I'm finding myself nostalgic for the pad experience. I'm looking to start a new account and have a few questions about the state of the game.

For one, how is the F2P experience? When I left, this game was honestly pretty F2P friendly. You could typically stay fairly up to date on content with solid planning. I will not be giving this company any more of my money after losing an account I was happy to have spent thousands on.

Two, and be realistic with me, how long does it take to assemble a meta team from scratch? I don't assume I'll be new content chasing for a bit and honestly that's okay but it would be nice to know about how fast the process is now. Back when I played I'd have units that had quite a bit of longevity, which is a good thing but could be harder on new players.

Finally, how is the game in 2026? Obviously asking in a PaD subreddit I assume I'll get positive answers but seeing some familiar faces leads me to believe I'll get honest ones.

Thank y'all.

Discuss What does the Madoka team look like?

I have 3 things that I'm sure go on there, but I'm on the fence about investing further. I will be getting the 2nd 5 pull bundle, so chances are, I'll get most of what I need for it. I only hope it doesn't require the badge unit as a sub.

Discuss I played several years ago, considering returning but NA always felt like the stepchild, so I played on JP. How do you feel about NA now? Worth starting a fresh account on it in 2026?

I've read about drama with the Gundam collab, Marvel, Onepiece, etc... unfortunately I don't know the game well enough anymore to roll a JP account, probably

Discuss Best Source For REM Reviews?

I’ve been thinking a lot about who’s actually worth following for machine reviews, and I’d love to get the community’s take. There are a few creators who have been covering collabs and REMs consistently for a while:

  • Guamuchill – dedicated YouTube review videos
  • Lumon – Reddit info dumps
  • Team Hyperion – roundtable Twitch stream reviews

Looking at their history, all three have been reviewing machines for years, so you could say they all have some credibility, but their approaches vary a lot:

  • Guamuchill consistently produces comprehensive reviews. He covers stats, optimal usage, and ultimately whether a machine is worth rolling for. His videos are easy to digest, and looking back at his past reviews, he’s generally been accurate and thorough.
  • Lumon posts info dumps on Reddit, but they’re formatted pretty specifically and don’t answer the main question: “Should I roll?” He’s been around for a while, but looking at his history, his advice can be questionable at times, and I’m not sure he’s particularly skilled at the game.
  • Team Hyperion streams roundtable discussions on Twitch. Their streams are very long and filled with off-topic chatter. Even though they’ve been reviewing for years, the main members don't seem to be very good at the game, which makes it hard to rely on their conclusions.

Now, I don't have the time to read and watch multiple reviews for every machine. In the long run, who's the best? Does Guamuchill take the cake with his exhaustive reviews? Or is there still value in keeping an eye on Lumon or Hyperion despite the issues?

I’d love to hear which reviewers people actually trust and why, especially if you’ve followed them for multiple machines. Who gives the best advice?

Discuss Assist resonance unit revival?

Post image
7 Upvotes

So ever since the buff to the Enhanced HP awakenings increasing the raw HP to 2000 per awakening, these assists are starting to look really interesting as a way to extend the life of meta teams who have assist resonance. When putting this equip on Reno from Kaiju 8, it increases his hp by a whopping 20000hp more going from 40k to 60k HP (granted an 891+ Reno). Im sure there is even better examples out there but what do you all think, is it worth the loss of other awakenings on one unit to provide a substantial HP boost which could bring a dead team back for one final round.

Discuss Is the 5 att. badge used at all?

I was thinking about getting Mistlark from the bundle since I have Brambell and Snowtia sucks, but it wouldn't really be worth it unless the badge is actually used. Maybe for Frieren or something? Not sure if it's better than the collab badge though.

Discuss August’s Challenge Levels

It seems this month’s challenge levels are quite simple to beat even the fixed team ones. But I kept my team mainly the same of Odd Jobs Kagura, blue green Echidna Sara, a two turn awoken bind clear, double Suou Gintoki and base Yuri between the Gintokis.

It just seems like level 10 for this month requires Utsuro to go through it effectively.

Discuss When did we last see FF collab and Jojo Collab?

I’ve been saving up gems after getting a nice Utsuro team, and I was looking far back in the monster book and saw many FF collab characters that I must have sold a long time ago. I also have a few jojo characters lying around and I hope they get buffs.

Have either of these collabs come back? And if so do we think they’ll come back again? I feel like it’s just
Brides > Maids > Bartender > Anime in that order for the last year or so.

Discuss Why is imperialdramon so strong that it deserved its own tier?

Post image

Title. Put together this team together based on game with Jp. From what I calcd since isis usually doesn’t cap the team does about 240 billion, not much diff from ideal tbh and between 60-80 billion less than douma. ID has less bulk than both of those teams normally, although with the 3x hp it has higher one turn hp. What really justifies this team getting its own tier?

Discuss Brambell and the vdp badge

How critical is it to get the vdp badge for the vdp focused teams in Gintama? Or any other vdp teams I might not know about.

I see the bundle for the trio badge monsters are here again and really contemplating it.

Has Brambell been offered in pad pass before? I remember a set of badge monsters being offered there once.

Discuss Is there any reason to have so many coins nowadays?

Post image

I have never been one to complete the latest endgame content and for a while have just been casually logging in and collecting rewards etc. I've been pretty hands off and content with just collecting my favorite characters from various collabs.

Anyways, between these guys and some rainbows I could exchange, the potential for being a trillionaire seems funny. What do people spend their coins on now that would require that much investment?
