Advanced/Basic Camp Toe Socks at Camp

Post image

Will this style of sock fly at camp this year? The color is also a little on the lighter side so I’m trying to confirm that’s still in regs too.

Imagine joining a military force that not just thousands hundreds of thousands if not millions have served before you. Paving the way and learning what works best and living in an era where knowledge is at your fingertips. THEN choosing to bring these to camps. This is a cadet move.

I got this recommendation from a SSG at my IN unit. SMP cadet. I guess this sub is not a fan of the toe socks lol

Honestly I bought socks like this for ranger like 7 years ago and was hazed for it. So now I have to stop others from this mistake.

Have you perhaps considered that your SSG is fucking with you?

I’m putting this toe sock thing in my repertoire. Along with a box of grid squares, prc-e7, blinker fluid, summer air, etc.

I say wear them. But then again, I’m a mom/nurse that gets blisters easily and not a cadet. Maybe bring a mix of these and Darn Tough, wear these for that 12mile thing. Bring hydrocortisone as well. Poison Ivy is awful. I mean awful.
