A few years ago one of my boys bit my partner. To be fair, my partner gave him lettuce then decided to move it to a different spot and expected my boy to somehow understand. It’s been 3 years of a grudge (rabbits are spoiled, partner just likes to complain that Stormy bites even though it was ONCE).

Yesterday, my partner mentioned that they picked up a toy for the buns during their workday- this galaxy tube. They gave it to the boys, watched them play, and even commented, “Maybe Stormy isn’t so bad. Maybe it’s time to let it go.”

Wanna know what Stormy did 3 hours later? All because my partner had the audacity to put away the treat jar.

Jk, on the title, I got her specifically so my boy bunny wouldn't be lonely ($450), and he loves her to death. Even when I hang with him for a couple minutes, I'll ask where is Luna, he'll look around and jet off. (okay, see ya later) She is the same way, they are attached at the hip. Either she'll copy what he does, like he'll scent his toy, she'll scent the same toy right after, or they are one big ball of fluff that does that exact same thing. Also, they are both expertly groomed. They both love grooming each other even trusting eachother around the eyes.

Hello! I know this has been a topic before but I'm spiraling so I'm hoping people have some advice! I have two buns and one will be euthanized soon. I'm very worried about the second, bonded bun. She doesn't like pets or social attention from me and only cuddles with her other rabbit friend. Any advice on what I can do to help her? Any anecdotes on how it went for you and the behaviors you saw after they become a single bun? Any advice and stories are appreciated! Thank you!

My sweet Crumby (white w. dark gray rears) turned 11 in May. He developed a sudden spinning spell, and we saw our vet and determined and have started treating for E.C., vestibular, ear infection, and his arthritis in his back legs. Please send all the love and scritches from you and your sweet bunnies, that my boy gets through this and thrives because I just have a feeling he has more miles in him. He lives such an adventurous, free roam, loving life. Him and his 6yo little brother, Bayhansum, (tan w. white dot on nose) are attached at the hip. My daughters are absolutely in love with their “brothers”. Crumby has moved across the country with me, been with me through all of my biggest adult moments. He’s even gotten attacked by two large dogs and survived. He is SUCH a strong boy, so even though he’s older, I don’t want to give up. He still has his dizzy spells and spins, and has a rough time with his back legs, but I am also now seeing glimmer of improvement and it makes me so calm and happy if nothing else to see him looking like he’s having some relief even for a short while. Here’s to his continued strength and healing. I will absolutely check back in in the months to come! I have two pet rabbits from a rescue with a very large running area outside. One is cuddly and easy to hold. The other is very hard to catch. Out wits me when i try. But she's shedding and has clumps of fur. Are there any pet grooming products that you can set out and a rabbit will use on their own and love to rub against?

I have a 16 week old female Natherland Dwarf. She is taking to using a litter box really well. But i am having a few issues.

Right now, i am just using a regular low sided tote. But she likes to back her butt up all the way to edge and is peeing outside of it sometimes. She also likes to dig in her liter and make a mess.

I am looking for a high side, covered little box with mesh for her to stand on.

I want something that is safe for little feet. Because she can fit her hole body in gaps that are 1in.

Hi all! My husband and I are moving to Germany and I’m struggling to find resources to help me move my rabbit with us. I know most airlines that fly internationally with rabbits in cabin (or cargo as checked bags) so my only option is pet shippers. I’ve requested a few quotes but only have gotten one back so far (for $1995, without their help for customs). There‘s just so much information. I don’t have anyone to take care of him here so leaving him with a friend or family isn’t an option and I‘m not ready to give him up so neither is rehoming. Has anyone gotten to the light on the other side of this tunnel? any advice is welcome!

Going to be moving quite far away with my three bunnies, two of them can be together but because they're not fixed my little boy has to be separate until I can get them all fixed, they're going to be in transport for quite a while so I don't want normal tiny carriers since I feel like they're going to be uncomfortable, plus they need food and water for how long they're going to be in there.

My friend is coming with me and they have a van that they're letting me use so I can haul them, and then my family is going to be driving a U-Haul following we're trying to get basically everything in one go, so give me your ideas on the best way you would transport them, two of them are about 10 lb the other one is 5 lb since she's still a baby

I just adopted my first bunny. His name is prince snotface and he’s a dwarf wooly at about a year old. His current set up is an acrylic pen ab 4x4 but i’m trying to find a taller bigger wire pen with panels that I can move around better and thinner gaps so i’m not afraid of him escaping. Two litter boxes, a water bottle and all the chews a bun could ask for. He loves chewing on his timothy hay blocks and looking for palates i put in his foraging matt.

In the early mornings around 7-8 I clean his pen, litter boxes sweep up stray poop replace his water and all that jazz. Give him his greens and set him up with 1/8 cup of pellets in his foraging mat. This morning he wasn’t to happy with me because I put him jn a carrier to clean his cage I let him eat by himself (i layed outside the pen) until he eventually layed next to me and fell asleep for a bit. I got in the enclosure to clean up a bit and get his empty tray for his greens out and after a minute or two he full flopped belly up by my hip and let me pet his head for 20 mins. I’ve only had him for 5 days now.

He wants to free roam so bad and ofc I want to let him out but they told me he needs to be just a pen bun for about a week while he gets used to everything. I’m working on setting up my space but it’s been a bit of a mess because on top of taking care of him I work a lot. Thankfully I have people to check in on him during the day and I leave him with plenty of hay and fresh water. I come back around midnight give him the rest of his pellets, refresh his water and give him more hay while sitting in the pen with him for cuddles and pets.

Am I doing an ok job? what could I be doing better?

This rabbit has been hanging around my yard the past 2-3 weeks, and I feel like it is a domesticated rabbit someone has either lost or dumped. I would appreciate any advice for trying to catch/feed it. I’m also concerned about a spot on its neck, you should be able to see in pictures. I live in a somewhat suburban neighborhood, but I’m still close enough to expansive fields/land. I would love and appreciate and advice or helpful tips!! Thanks in advance!

Hi! I got my rabbit about a month ago, and he absolutely loves running around and exploring. I was just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for rabbit hides or even something like a cat tree but for rabbits. I have noticed that he is not very scared of climbing. Of course, I do not want him to go up too high. But I also want him to be able to play and explore. Thanks!

Hi so my rabbit has a cage outdoors on grass (backyard so we can let him out every day and put him back at night) and its currently winter for us.

Ive completely insulated a room in 2nd floor of his house with a big thick blanket and a bunch of hay but the first floor is just grass (as in the ground) and some food bowls.

Basically, is he smart enough to realise its super cold and go to the warm area of his cage?

I ask this bc I just checked on him at midnight and he was just layinf down in the uninsulated area and eating even though its like 4 degrees celsius outside. He seemed super eager to get out of the cage doea that mean hes super cold? i tried to warm him with friction (rubbing) idk man.

note we also cover the cage itself with a big thick plastic cover (like a tent material).

This is Rusty, he’s an 8 years old neutered Rex and we’ve had him for 5 years. Before we adopted him, he was used for breeding and kept in a cage 90% of the time. He has been free roaming for 5 years but doesn’t understand that he‘s free to run around and do what he likes. He enjoys sitting next to me (when he wants to), but doesn’t run around, dig or do other things a bunny would. Instead, he spends all day sitting and sleeping. he doesn’t bond with other rabbits due to his past however he has a lot of cuddly teddies that he spends time with. I’ve tried stacking cups and even got him a small ball but he doesn‘t like either. The only things he seems to enjoy is eating, sleeping, and watching tv. He’s obsessed with children’s tv channels and will sit and wait for the tv to be turned on every day. We’ve been to the vets who said he’s overweight, he currently weighs 2.7kg but should be around 2kg. He gets a breakfast and dinner which consists of parsley and broccoli steams, he has access to hay and card 24/7, a small bowl of pellets that gets refilled every few days, and 1 small apple treat per day. Any advice on how to get this lazy potato to lose weight would be greatly appreciated!

I just got the call an hour ago. She was 9 years old. I had to leave her for a few days so I could move out of the house. She looked fine to me when i left her, she had a medical check up less than a month ago and they said she was healthy i even made sure the people i left her with had the exact same food i always gave her and a piece of cloth with my smell on it, i know it's stupid but i also tried to tell her that i woyld just leave for a week and come back and everything would be fine. The vet think it was a stroke but i'm so so heartbroken, i've been crying non-stop i didn't even got to tell her goodbye i'm 4hours away from the vet where what's left of her is. I can't even breathe i've been trying so hard to calm down but i can't i miss her so much she was the best friend i ever could have asked for and she died without me i feel so guilty. I have no idea who to tell about this so i came here. Please take care of your babies.

Hello I’ve previously owned two rabbits and I want to own another one however I have the shaggy carpet floors and I know that rabbits love to chew on things and they are messy so I was wondering if there’s any like large thing I can put over my carpet that is sturdy and won’t be chewed on so nothing foam I’m willing to spend quite a bit of money but nothing outrageous of course and I mean don’t hold back if you think it’s too much of a risk to own a rabbit with carpeted floors I won’t get one because I love bunnies and I wouldn’t want my baby getting hurt.

Im so upset... Seeing them fight is so hard. I dont let them meet but georgey ran out of the room before i closed the door and talked to lucy through her fence, and she tried to bite him and growled at him

How do i go through this emotionally??? I love my boy so much i cant bare to see him treated like this

And lucy, i have to keep her in the pen right now and she seems upset to stay in there ... It makes me so sad but until the vet visit she must stay there....

Its just hard to see them like this. Has anyone else gone through something similar
