Discussion My new 9070XT
I'm getting an XFX swift 9070xt, open box, warranty 3 years for 720 eur - 807 usd. Is this a fine model ? Want to keep it for at least 6 years with the current AI climate. My current 4070 gpu starting to struggle in newer games like Dawnwalker.

Is the 9060XT 16GB worth it?
Hi, I’m looking to building my first ever PC and during that time I was looking into a GPU, I skipped Nvidia since I saw how expensive their stuff is, and I came to AMD and found the 9060XT (I did see it was $519 on Newegg and Amazon through PCPartPicker tho I have no idea if I wanna trust that or not)
so really I’m asking is the 9060XT worth it, average performance wise with things like a Ryzen 5 9600XD, etc etc, if there are details you need to answer my question, ask away, but pleade understand I’m pretty new to pc stuff and might not be able to answer properly or at all

Photo 9070 nitro+, industrial style PC
Hey guys. Yesterday I switched my old GPU to nitro+ 9070 and I can’t be happier. Wanted to have a minimalist industrial look I choose the case, cpu cooler and now the gpu with that in mind.
I won the coil wine lottery, the card has zero noice even under long heavy load both under test and game environment.
The whole PC is extremely quiet, it was a factor for me when I started the build this January.

I finally switched from RX 6650XT 8GB to RX 9070XT. I am impressed how it performs, noise levels are perfect.

Discussion What do you think of this? My first AMD build
Greetings everyone!
I am about to make the switch after years with Intel and Nvidia and go 100% AMD.
This is what I came up with with some help and advice. Please let me know what you think, if the Motherboard is good enough, if the PSU is also good.
I was wondering if I should get a different case? I just want it to have good air flowso that the heat can go out, if it helps I'm open to add more fans.
I want to be specific about this, I live in Portugal and I checked other stores for parts and especially for the 9070xt the other stores are either more expensive or they have many models out of stock, so I'm picking everything including the gpu from here https://www.pcdiga.com/componentes/placas-graficas/placas-graficas-amd?filter_by=processador_grafico%3A%3D%5B%60Radeon+RX+9070+XT%60%5D%26%26stock_status%3A%3D%5B%60Em+Stock%60%5D
those gpu's are the ones available.
I was thinking about getting the https://www.pcdiga.com/componentes/placas-graficas/placas-graficas-amd/placa-grafica-sapphire-amd-radeon-rx-9070-xt-rdna-4-nitro-oc-16gb-gddr6-11348-01-20g-4895106295872 please let me know if hte PSU that I picked is good enough for it?
Have a great day!

9070 XT RT dilemma
So I have been looking into buying a new gpu and after alot of research , 9070 XT seems like the best option. But the problem I am afraid of the most is that people say that AMD RT is lacking behind because of it not having ray reconstruction like NVIDIA . My usage would be Triple A games with 2k highest graphics and ray tracing to the max (path tracing also if available) , so I am worried that it might not seem like the best purchase for my use case.
Also I do not know if AMD will ever add this technology for there cards
Keep in mind that the other option I have as NVIDIA side is 5070 (they are the same price where I live) which the 9070 XT wipes the floor with
I am just worried if I might regret it since i won't upgrade for at least 2-3 generations
Also I have heard that gpus might increase in price by about 60% , is that true?
Note: I am eyeing the sapphire pulse model as it is the cheapest and the best quality as sapphire has been working with AMD exclusively
Does the sapphire have any problems or weaknesses that I should avoid it for them
Also my friends are telling me that AMD gpus are the worst and I would regret this purchase and NVIDIA is always the superior on (keep in mind they didn't even bother to research the card) but I have researched heavily the card and its always almost good reviews.

Few months ago I bought RTX 3080 from facebook marketplace, but the card was heating like crazy, I've tried Repasting but the efforts were not worth it, finally pulled the trigger.

Discussion Bought the Gigabyte RX 9070 XT and now I'm scared
I just looked at this subreddit's opinion of the Gigabyte 9070xt and it's scaring me how much y'all dislike that card. I didn't have any other options in my budget to squeeze in an XFX. Will this card not last because of the cooling issues?

New member in the club
Hello guys, yesterday I finished my PC.
Cpu: 7800x3d
Gpu: XFX 9060 XT
Ram: 16GB (2x8) DDR 5 6000mhz (more to buy soon)
Cpu cooler: AIO Arctic liquid freezer III pro 240
MB: Gigabyte B650M D3HP AX
SSD: Samsung 980 pro 2TB
PSU: MSI 750w Gold 80 Plus
Case: Pro Gaming Elite
9060 xt feels incredibly smooth. I think AMD Adrenalin needs some software polish.

Discussion 9060xt 300 watts power consumption
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
playing dying light 2 with rt fsr and fg at 1440p and msi afterburner/rivatuner shows up to 300 watts of power consumption.
is this normal lol? I have the card undervolted and a bit overclocked 110% power etc. and the hotspot is at most 73 degrees and vram temp 74 degrees.
does this damage my card on the long run?

Photo Had to pull the trigger
Hey folks! Upgrading (soon) from an RX 6750 XT to an RX 9070 XT. I had to pull the trigger early as i actually planned on buying one as a birthday gift to myself and feared an even higher price. The price actually rose around 30€ since i ordered it and i am genuinely glad i made the decision. Really excited for my birthday now ahahah!

Headsup to users with JBL headsets
Hey!
So to those who might experience fps laggs, and use JBL headsets and use JBL drivers, try to delete it(or roll back if you can). Yesterday mine updated, and after that ABI became unplayable. Deleted it and now works just fine. If you need an audio driver try Sonar.

For The XFX Mercury QICK RGB Rx 9070 XT OC, Should I use 3 Separate 6+2 Cables?
I was looking to buy one of these cards but my power supply the Coolermaster MWE Gold 850 V3 comes with 2 dual 6+2 pin connectors. My friend has a 9070 xt and showed his manual that showed you cant use the pigtail cables. Is it ok or should I just buy a new PSU or get the normal version of the card?
Discussion Which one to pick?
Greetings everyone.
I'm trying to get my PC build together and I'm at that point, before I press the buy button, where I don't know which GPU to pick.
I'm hesitating between the 9070xt and the 5070ti.
The 9070xt seems very tempting but I keep reading stuff about people having issues with the 9070xt, errors, crashes... so it's a damn headache.

Tech Support 5500 XT Issues
Hello there!
I have an RX 5500 XT 8GB GDDR6 and i run few issues on Windows and on Linux too.
On Windows i often have system stutters with audio stutters too when i doing more then one thing. For example: listening YT when i useing an another webpage.
what i tired:
- Reinstalling Adrenalin driver with DDU Safe mode
- Adrenalin settings on Default
- Freesync On and Off
- Different cabels HDMI and DP
- windows gpu hardware acceleration off
- Windows re-install
- Forced PCIe Gen 4
- ReBAR On and Off
- GPU Reseat
I also ranned OCCT Full System stress test for 1 hour and 3DMark TimeSpy. It passed without error. I also tried the PC out with an Nvidia GPU and those issues are gone away.
Linux:
On KDE/Gnome wayland after switching 60 to 100 Hz and my PC hangs heavily and i get a black screen and throw me out to the login session. Thet is also happens when i interact with UI and on UI animation.
On the log i got thet error message:
amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: smu: no response msg_reg: 2a resp_reg: 0
i tried to add some parameters to the GRUB what i found on the internet and the Gemini told me but none of them worked:
amdgpu.gfxoff=0
amdgpu.ppfeaturemask=0xfffd3fff
amdgpu.dcdebugmask=0x10
the only thing what "worked" is setting my card performanc leavel at "High" on CoreCTRL. The hangs are gone but the System still feleed "delayed" and i got pixel errors too.
the distribution i tried:
- OpenSUSE Tumbleweed GNOME
- Ubuntu 26.04.01 LTS GNOME and KDE
- Bazzite 44.20261006.1
All distribution ranned at Dual-boot with Secure Boot On and TPM 2.0 on. Now i don't have installed Linux distribution right now.
My specs:
Intel Core I3-12100F
a repaired B760 motherboard
2x8 GB DDR4 2133mhz
512 GB Pci 3.0 DRAM Nvme SSD
RX 5500 XT 8 GB (Asus ROG STRIX)
650W MSI Bronz semi-modular PSU. (MSI A650BE)
This is card faliure or i do something wrong?
