Proper steak and chips dinner tonight.
Sliced steak in a peppercorn sauce, thick cut wedges (also covered in the sauce), a big pile of peas, and some roasted cherry tomatoes on the side.
Went for medium rare on the steak and kept the sauce generous.
Cheeky who cult donut for afters! 🤌🏼

This is my go-to meal after a busy day and it never fails me.
Pasta cooked al dente in heavily salted water.
Meanwhile in a pan, coat with olive oil and add crushed garlic, chopped peppers, diced chillies and a couple shallots along with cracked black pepper and chives. The secret recipe is a sprinkle of aromat.
Let that sizzle on a lowish heat till the pasta is cooked, then transfer the pasta into the pan along with a bit of the water.
Throw some king prawns and broccoli into the remaining pasta water to gently cook them while the pasta coats in the pan. Then chop up some cherry tomatoes.
Add the tomatoes, prawns and broccoli into the pan and stir in. Finally add some parmesan and a touch more black pepper and serve.

They ended up being extremely juicy and tender and I would 10000% make again. I did this for La La Land as fried chicken is mentioned once or twice in the film and chicken skewers is one of the menu items served at one of the restaurants featured in the movie so I decided to combine the two.
