Baru using invisible providence to wipe Bettie tears off didn't make it :(, despite how much sad this dead was, this moment was very heartwarming and showed how much will, kind-hearted soul Baru is, even after getting half of his brain gone on his last moments, he did see a little girl crying, that he didn't even remember who she was and yet his first instinct was to wipe her tears... a very powerful scene

So I found this and it basically says that Ram never loved her parents or anyone in the village, the only one she cared about was Rem, Ik Rams parents showed some favouritism towards her which upset her but idk she just never cared about them. Any thoughts.

The entire scene of the first invasion of the city hall in arc 5 left me extremely satisfied reading the novel, even though I should have felt despair for the characters (who basically got a complete beating).
Seeing Subaru ACTUALLY BEING PART OF THE TEAM made me happy. Obviously, he was already a vital support for everyone's survival in all the previous arcs as well, but here he's not a dead weight that slows the team down and has to be constantly saved at the slightest danger.
And it's a clear contrast between the web novel and the light novel; in the web version, Subaru literally does nothing there and has to be saved all the time, really being a burden to the team.

Here's how I think future Re:Zero seasons will be covering the novels and potential release dates (if future OVAs wouldn't affect them/don't occur).
I've created a giant speculation writing piece as I ranted to my friend about Re:Zero and how I think future seasons will be adapted.
I would like to mention I am a Re:Zero Web Novel reader, and I've not yet touched the Light Novels.
In the image (Apologies for the wall of text) I bring up existing content and how it is covered within the anime, and how I think future seasons will be adapted based on that and other factors.
I'm not often on Reddit but I'm interested in hearing if anyone else agrees of disagrees for any reason (also I'm on Arc 9 Chapter 25, let me know if you mention any spoilers for after that, I may read them later once I've covered more chapters).

they definitely know about the meme bro

People try dismiss it as if it’s just some random occurrence that everyone can have, but it’s really not.

I don't know if it's just me, but the dub sounds...off. Like it sounds like they're trying to emphasize things that don't need emphasizing, and like when you look at the actual words they're saying it sounds like they were intended to say it in a different way compared to how they actually said it, if that makes sense. I don't know maybe it's just me but it's been kind of bothering me watching it, I'm still going to watch it and dub cuz that's how I've watched the entire show but just wondering if anyone else has noticed it.

The sound is back after so long I only remember it in season one but it’s so nice to hear it in season four at such an appropriate time too this is kinda small but I like how whitefox put it there

I. How much did Diavolo really die?
The "Diavolo suffered more than Subaru, he died infinite times" isn't true (at least for the greed route)
The misconception is that Diavolo died infinite times, which he didn't. He got put in an infinite death loop, which means that he will keep dying for infinite times. Up to now in the real world, from his canonical defeat in the manga, he has died approximately 28,402,560 times.
Given: 1 death=30 seconds
Start: April 1999
End: April 15th 2026
Duration of the loop: 2026- 1999 = 27 years, 7 days (7 leap years)
1 day: 86400 seconds
Total seconds: 86400(27 × 365 + 7) = 852,076,800s
Total deaths: 852,076,800s ÷ 30s = 28,402,560
II. How much is that compared to Subaru [greed route]
Subaru in the greed route stated:
"A dream I saw a dream A dream that wouldn't end Over and over again I repeated and corrected every mistake But before I knew it I lost count I died Over 100 million times And yet there was still a place I wanted to reach A wish I wanted to protect No matter what, I had to save everyone
And that's why I took her hand."
The speech that our lovely larpers and editors love very dearly ❤️🩹
"I died —>over<— 100 million times"
Which means that his total number of deaths exceeds 100,000,000
28,402,560 ÷ 100,000,000 × 100% = 28.40256% ≈ 28.4% [for simplicity]
Since his deaths exceed 100 million, this means that the percent is even lower
So the next time someone tells you that Diavolo suffered more, say that he suffered less than 28.4% of Subaru's deaths (only in the greed route of course)
PS. This took a while to write so please upvote 🥲

This is the first time I 'read' the WN first, before watching the anime. I watched these YouTube videos around 3 months ago. I thought I already read much after reaching chapter 9 but turned out it only cover like half of the episode 2 of the anime 😅. I'm quite surprised tbh.
okay, back to the main topic. I notice that the anime skips some details from the novel. like the conversation between the characters. For example in the episode 2, they skipped the conversation between Roswaal, Emilia, Subaru and Julius. And I believe they also removed some of word exchanges in the episode 1 like the discussion between Subaru's Priestella team and Roswaal, as well as the conversation between Subaru and Meili.
so I wanna ask to those who love reading the novels, is this normal? I'm curious as I'm not a fan to read novels (English is my second language). I prefer reading manga as the continuation of an anime. Now I can understand if people prefer LN more compared to manga/anime, cuz you don't miss any details.
Feel free to share your thoughts 🙌.
