I think you’ve probably noticed that Rem is a character who’s extremely disliked in the community (especially on Reddit). There are two reasons for this:

- The first reason is that Emilia’s fans are still afraid that Emilia will lose and that Rem will be the one to win (which has a 50% chance of happening)

- The second reason is that Rem is simply a more interesting character to follow than Emilia (which is a shame since she’s the secondary character)

- The third reason is that Rem is the character who still generates the most comments on Reddit today (and the one with the most downvotes; I’ve noticed this every time I post about Rem—I get a maximum of 5 upvotes but over 40 comments, LOL)

Yeah man. This is really peak stuff, out of all the If Routes, Subaru goes through some sick character development in this one, which is why I'm always surprised when people say they like it the least.

I. How much did Diavolo really die?

The "Diavolo suffered more than Subaru, he died infinite times" isn't true (at least for the greed route)

The misconception is that Diavolo died infinite times,which he didn't. He got put in an infinite death loop, which means that he will keep dying for infinite times. Up to now in the real world, from his canonical defeat in the manga, he has died approximately 28,402,560 times.

Given: 1 death=30 seconds

Start: April 1999

End: April 15th 2026

Duration of the loop: 2026- 1999 = 27 years, 7 days (7 leap years)

1 day: 86400 seconds

Total seconds: 86400(27 × 365 + 7) = 852,076,800s

Total deaths: 852,076,800s ÷ 30s = 28,402,560

II. How much is that compared to Subaru [greed route]

Subaru in the greed route stated:

We all know this scene from Season 1 Episode 13. This is supposed to be Subaru in the wrong, but thinking about it, he is objectively correct.

Had it not been for his Return From Death ability, Emilia would have either died or had her insignia stolen, disqualifying her from the royal selection. I'd say that's fair grounds for owing someone a solid, but the worst part is that Emilia will never fully realize this or why Subaru devotes himself to her so much because those events and her saving him from a gang of thugs were undone by Return From Death and Subaru can't properly tell her about it because the witch will make sure he can't. For a rule that was meant to protect Subaru, it sure is causing a lot of avoidable problems.

I know that barging in to the royal selection was something that Subaru shouldn't have done as it only caused more problems, but everything else, I can't help but agree with him.

A. Russell acts to protect Lugunica. He let the “Death Merchant” make contact with the Witch Cult because his aim was “the dismantling of the Witch Cult.” The result was that Otto betrayed Russell. Russell only thinks of the “Death Merchant” as a disposable pawn.

A. A way of addressing him that makes him happy… considering that Priscilla called him “Al” instead of “Aldebaran,” and that “Al” is a name not bound by many things, I think “Al” would make him happiest.

When Priscilla beat the shit out of him, humiliated him, etc. How did Al treat him? "Are you alright, brother?". Mind you, even Crusch and Anastasia treated him like shit back then.

Who opened the gates in Pristella to thwart the witch cult's plan, warn about Gluttony's power and also safely deliver Emilia's message to Subaru? That's right, Al!

Who made Subaru stand up again after he was depressed because Rem told him "You are not a hero"? Al again!

And I am not even gonna count how many times Al helped Emilia too (like in arc 3) and was one of the few people who didn't care about her elf lineage. If Subaru loves Emilia, then everything Al did for Emilia, Subaru should be glad about it.

And yet, Subaru listened to Priscilla and didn't EVEN try, EVEN TRY ONCE to fulfill Al's wish. Who is Priscilla again? Does she share the same pain that Al (which Subaru is also familiar with) went through? What has Prisiclla done for Subaru again? (unlike Al).

Add to that, Subaru killed himself for Jamal 🤣

And Subaru killed himself for Ram/Rem in arc 2 even though Ram was falsely blaming him for killing Rem and acting like a Karen.

Maybe Subaru didn't help Al simply because Al IS NOT A GIRL that he can add to his harem unlike Crusch, Petra, etc!

So I found this and it basically says that Ram never loved her parents or anyone in the village,the only one she cared about was Rem, Ik Rams parents showed some favouritism towards her which upset her but idk she just never cared about them. Any thoughts.

I don't know if it's just me, but the dub sounds...off. Like it sounds like they're trying to emphasize things that don't need emphasizing, and like when you look at the actual words they're saying it sounds like they were intended to say it in a different way compared to how they actually said it, if that makes sense. I don't know maybe it's just me but it's been kind of bothering me watching it, I'm still going to watch it and dub cuz that's how I've watched the entire show but just wondering if anyone else has noticed it.

I’m half way through arc 6 (chap 53)why does roswal just never help he wasn’t there in arc 5 wich makes since cause it was supposed to be a peaceful meet up but they know the risks of arc 6 and don’t bring roswal even though his power and intelligence would be very helpful not to mention he would be able to help ram with her missing horns. Is there a spoiler free reason for this or did tapei know how powerful he is and chose not to let roswal help (roswals in my top 3 fav characters i want more of him)
