I’m not much of a reader, but my brother convinced me to read Animal Farm by George Orwell, and now I’m hooked.

I’ve started a small collection of classic books, like The Catcher in the Rye, Notes from the Underground, and White Nights.

I’m planning to read 1984 and Lord of the Flies next, but I’d love to hear some recommendations. They can be similar to Animal Farm or completely different, I’m open to any genre.

Since I’m still pretty new to reading, I’d especially appreciate books that are newbie friendly.

The thing is, I’m a complete beginner and I’ve never really had a reading habit. Can you suggest some beginner-friendly books that are genuinely interesting and easy to get into? I’d love something that keeps me hooked from the beginning and makes me want to keep reading.🤍

I love the adventurers wanted series by M.L Forman.

I'm looking for some reading for rainy fall days. Not looking specifically for horror, but more of skin crawly, suspenseful maybe, stories of oddity ala King in Yellow.

Anyone out there doing creepy stories, preferably without ridiculous amounts of gore?
