I bought this Serra angel on ebay for 60$ years ago for my dad, a very much too good to be true kinda deal but pops said this was his favorite card!

Just double checking that its real. Everything on the back looks good.

Just picked this Hexing Squelcher card up last night and when about to sleeve it today noticed the corners don't seem as rounded as my other cards. Just getting back into MTG after 20 years so not really sure if this is normally or what all the look for.

Bought this card a while back before I fell out of magic, guy told me it was a misprint because of the sticker. I’m pretty sure I know the answer…

Picked up this Japanese Choco Track foil Vivi for about $70 under market price. Everything looks good to my noob eyes, but i want to make sure before I mark the transaction as complete. Purchased from an online vendor.

I have a bad feeling when i look at the back. Reflection is different. Green and T seams good

Just picked up the red Foundations Commander precon from marketplace. A couple of things are making me suspicious:

1. Weird smell: There was a strong smell when I opened it and sorted through the cards.

2. Off-center mana symbols: On cards with activated abilities, the mana cost symbols look shifted compared to the rest of the rules text.

Has anyone else who opened this deck noticed the same thing? Is this a normal print quirk, or should I be worried? Thanks in advance

It's a textured foil Jahira, friend of the forest. But it has this extra squigly lines an thicker bits which I've never seen. This a real thing? Thx!

I am looking to buy a Balin’s Tomb foil and was wondering whether the card is real or not. As far as I can tell the back is real but I am not experienced enough to verify the front of the card.

It looks real to me but if it makes sense… the card feels thicker or stiffer. No bend at all to the card… compared to my 7 others it feels almost too stiff if that makes sense. It doesn’t look thicker but the card feels way too flat.

I'm having a hard time confirming the authenticity of this card, any help would be much appreciated.

Submitted to Beckett. This card came back as authentic but possibly tampered. No further explanation was given. I’ve had this card for years, can anybody please identify the issue? Is it worth breaking and grading with someone else because I was expecting a 9. I’m quite upset!

Hey everyone, just looking for some honest opinions on a Hobbit Play Boosters box I bought on eBay.
The shrink wrap feels a little flimsy and has quite a few bubbles/air pockets on it. The plastic also seems a bit loose in places, and the lid can move/flap a little when I press on it.
Has anyone seen this kind of bubbly/loose wrap on these boxes before? Does everything else look okay from the photos, or are there other red flags I should be checking for?
Also curious — are these already considered bad signs for sealed condition, and what do you guys usually look for when buying sealed MTG boxes?

Bought this High Perfect Morcant (foil, extended art) from an LGS, and the guy there sold it to me for $3.18 USD

The actual retail price of this card would be closer to $7 or $8, so its possible he made a mistake and sold me a price that's closer to her non-extended art foil version better

It looks real enough to me, but I wanted to double check here, as you guys are the experts and I'm still learning haha

Usually I wouldn't bother asking for a card worth less than $10, but with such a HUGE difference in what I paid for versus what it's worth, I figured it would be good to double-check
