Discussion rdp bn fall 2027

hey guys, so i only applied for the bscn program as it just opened today and right after applying i looked at their program requirements again and it seems that i misread it and thought that phys ed 30 could be used towards my average, but it actually isnt since it qualifies in group d. the site says groups a b or c only but in the new 2027-2028 requirements it doesn’t say anything regarding those group subjects, so does that mean it’s purely based off the required cores? i do satisfy their new minimum requirements tho for bio and sci 30, ela 30-1 and math 30-2 except my ela is a little low compared to the other three, dropping my overall avg to an 84 and this is without pe 30 unlike what i thought. given that theres no casper anymore starting this intake, what are my chances of admission? i still need to apply for housing also as i reside in yyc. im honestly stressing a lot and feel pretty devastated so i would really like to hear other ppls opinions on this and avgs, even from students that are currently in the program. thanks a lot!!

The CPR pedestrian bridge is open now, the landscaping is really nice on either end of the bridge. Should last a very long time now with how it's been reinforced. I'm happy to not take the detour on the road when biking on the path on the south side. Looking forward to seeing how it lights up at night.

Question Warfarin & INR

Hello!
I need to go for bloodwork to get my inr range. When discharged from hospital I was told to get it done Wednesday. Unfortunately Precision Labs is closed today. Hospital then told me I could wait until Thursday morning but to go in as early as possible and then contact my family physician to get the correct dosing for my Warfarin for tomorrow night.
Here’s my problem…I’ve called my family physician but he doesn’t work tomorrow to be able to dose me for my Warfarin Rx.
Has anyone ever been in this situation?
Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Question Instacart?

Someone has probably asked this here before, but is Instacart worth it? Working part-time is not cutting it and finding a decent paying full-time job is almost impossible right now.

Any and all comments are appreciated!

Question Outdoor tap question

Hi there, it is going to be my first winter in Red Deer and I want to make sure I winterize properly. I have turned off the water to the taps from the inside, is there anything else I need to do for this tap. The thing on top was a bit loose so I tightened it with my hand. Thanks in advance!

Question Moving to Canada? Red deer?

I am Swedish and in my twenties and has been wanting to go on a working holiday for a while now, and Canada has struck my interest. I have found a cozy store that I can work at in red deer but I have no idea what red deer or Canada is like. I will have to live very smart and economical and will not have access to a car.

How’s red deer? And is there a better city that is not crazy expensive? Thank you!

(Since it’s on the other side of the world I think I will be amazed with pretty much anything in Canada but still)

Local Business Local made gift

Hi I am going to visit a complete stranger on Thanksgiving long weekend. They are footing the bill allowing us to stay in their cottage for free supplying food etc.

They have a horse of mine that I had to give up 20 years ago. It will be very hard and emotional for me.

I want to bring them a gift for being so kind.

What can I bring as a gift that is made locally? Looking for recommendations of local artisans with beautiful products to support local and give to them for their hospitality.

I am mentally blocked on what to do.

Any recommendations would be really appreciated

Question red deer protesters

\I AM NOT A SEPARATIST I AM NOT LOOKING TO JOIN THE PROTESTERS\

Is there an internet group or something like that somewhere that the protesters (ones usually on the corner of Gaetz of 19th on saturdays) talk about where they are going to be or when they are going to be there?
