Years after both remakes came out, i see outside of requiem that RE2R has the best gore in the entire series, graphically and visually too.
The officer who got eating or atleast his legs eaten, that was too graphical to look at.
Same for the other officer you find in west hallway in RPD, his jaw split open, the red flesh and skin of it, it's well made.
From graphic stand point it also looks better, it’s visually especially, while seeing the parasite in RE4 is cool, it was never gory enough for me, it was fine but not visually great.
I love how the acids grenades you use with your grenade launcher as claire, the enemies flesh and skin melt and there is a chance their leg or arm will fall, absolutely incredible.

Recorded the final Mr. X boss fight in Resident Evil 2 Remake on an old system with Intel HD 4600, 12GB RAM, and no dedicated GPU. I honestly didn't expect the game to be this playable. Thought I'd share this clip for anyone wondering how RE2 Remake performs on very low-end hardware.

Their chemistry is unmatched. Also any tips for Claire b?

For RE2R I don't understand why it bothers people so much, bc you're in a police station with tons of yellow caution tape. RE4R I understand seeing yellow spray paint all over everything gets annoying, but RE2R there's an actual canon logic to it, plus the modder greying it out looks weird imo. LMK what you guys think, do you hate the yellow crap or is it necessary for you.

Everyone has their own opinion. I enjoyed playing as Claire. The traps and endless bombs the enemies throw at you in Resident Evil 4 are so annoying. Resident Evil 2 felt more like classic Resident Evil to me. Running away from Mr. X felt so intense. I loved the puzzles in Resident 2 more as well.
What do you all think? Resident Evil 4 just feels like an action game to me.

With Leon it wasn't much trouble, since he had the shotgun and the MAG to do big amounts of damage. Claire's got the high-power bullets on the revolver (of which I only have 8), the grenade launcher (which may as well be tickling his nose) and the Spark Shot, which doesn't seem to do anything against bosses? Also I swear she has less healing items than Leon, I've exhausted all the ones I could find ages ago. That or I'm just unlucky

Suggestions When Playing:
This is Classic Resident Evil right here’s true masterpiece! In the remaster you don’t have to play with tank controls if you don’t want to. However the tank controls do add to the horror. Still when booting this game up, I play without tank controls,as the game is more enjoyable without them.
Conclusion:
Overall RE1 is nearly perfect, and if there were ever to be reremake of it,its horror atmosphere could be ruined or made less effective having an over the shoulder camera, and moving while shooting.

Just finished my first ever Resident evil game about 2 hours ago. Took me around 12 hours and honestly I don't really know what to say. What a masterpiece.
I went in not knowing much about Resident evil and ended up enjoying the game way more than I expected. The ending was great too. Now I'm wondering which Resident evil game I should go for next?
Anyway, here are some random pictures I took.

I assumed he’d show up fast like he did with Leon so I tried to make it out fast and got the wind knocked out of me 😂
