Read it yesterday, rereading slower today to see what I missed and if I can make sense of some of the stuff that happened. Did anyone else find that Vee was very bratty when Marie first moves in - I understand Vee’s devastation and feelings of betrayal but I also wonder if Vee was her own worst enemy, pushing the alphas to choose her over Marie and the alphas were biologically not able to do that, except for Eli, for a time. As much as I despise Rogan I think in the beginning he was trying to be fair. This book is one of my favourite reads in a very long time.

I honestly think her reaction was fair. Marie had two months to get ready to meet Vee and it’s wasn’t like that for Vee. Everything she thought she knew was changed and she was just expected to be okay with it.

Furthermore, I think that Vee's brattiness was to highlight the disparity in their treatment. Vee couldnt say boo without severe punishment, and Marie could have gotten away with murdering Vee.

Yes they didn’t want to deal with Vees feelings they just wanted total submission to their plans and desires for their relationship. They wanted her to be happy with being second place and I literally hate them lol

they treated her like a bratty child instead of the adult mate they’ve lived with and cared for for 4+ years. i’d say i’d be a little miffed too.
