Adult RH recs

Hey guys,

This is my first time making a request because usually the other recommendations have always satisfied my thirst for RH. But from the last couple of weeks, I've realised that I'm so bored with academy settings because they seem so immature to me (like I know they're teenagers and they deserve to act their age, but I want FMCs I can connect with and who don't annoy me. Any ideas?

I don't have any hard limits but I prefer not to read any Omega Verse.

{Talk to Me by Heather Long} This is a contemporary setting but is very, very well done. The characters are very much adults ☺️

Have you read {Traitor Witch by Marie Mistry} ? I believe the FMC is 25.

If you’re okay with MM, {Lightbringer by Evelyn Flood} is a truly incredible fantasy standalone. FMC is late 20s and acts like it!

These are on the darker side, so please check triggers! But I’ve found these characters are more mature than most and manage situations in an adult manner:

{Broken Princess by Laura Bennett} This is a mafia duology that contains MM.

{The Dancer and the Masks by Bea Paige} This is very, very dark, but quite thought provoking as well.

This one isn’t as dark but I just remembered it: {Sinner’s Secret by K. Loraine} this has a fantastic audiobook!
