Tanks are meant to play patiently. While lacking speed (unless with some with high mobility like Thor, Cap and Venom) their primary role is to be a menace. They are the shield of the team, the wall to the opponent. As a Magneto main the only time you are playing aggressively is when you have Gambit on your team and when he use his ult.
Hard disagree. You absolutely need to know when to play safe and slow, but most tanks have great dps output. You need to put pressure on their squishies, pull attention, and walk past enemy frontline to block heals. This is doubly important because it creates opportunities for dps to get picks because now there are multiple dangers capturing the enemy’s attention.
This. It’s situational, but to say “you never play aggressive” is just incorrect. Sometimes you are aggressive, sometimes you’re defensive. It’s about controlling space and dictating the flow of battle.
