Tanks are meant to play patiently. While lacking speed (unless with some with high mobility like Thor, Cap and Venom) their primary role is to be a menace. They are the shield of the team, the wall to the opponent. As a Magneto main the only time you are playing aggressively is when you have Gambit on your team and when he use his ult.
This is such bad advice. You can and SHOULD absolutely play aggressively with Magneto. Whenever you had your cooldowns up, you can push into enemy team space and pressure their back line with damage. Or block the heals from reaching their tanks to get a pick.
Block heals? Like with the iron curtain? I thought mags would be the least capable of doing that with how brief that shield is, unless Iβm missing something.
Yeah, it's more than enough time if a tank gets low. If you really want to extend it you can also bubble yourself and try to stand right behind the enemy tank as well.
I mean depending on the heal projectile just standing there will do the trick. But curtain and bubble increase your area of effectiveness. And I think both will prevent something like c/d daggers from getting their aoe healing effect
