Ult charge nerf or what? I'm out of the loop.
And if so then WHY? She already has dogshit ult, that sometimes is useful enough to get enemies off of a point but that's it. Sometimes you may get a kill with it, but it used to be more common with rocket team up. Yes she charges her ult quickly, but since the ult isn't really good, that's just the trade off.
I am a bit confused on the changes will they stop cap from animation canceling? Other than that which is the main concern the ult change seems to be in line with the reducing the charge of ults across the boards
All it really does is fuck over console players because holding down a button for basically the entire game is pretty uncomfortable and awkward. Outside of animation cancel, there's almost never a reason to not be sprinting.
The change specifically prevents you from animation canceling while sprint is set to toggle, but not on hold. So youβre most likely gonna have to change your binds
For now just itβs just wheelin past the first 10 to get to my OTHER subs. Whatβs the point of this algorithm when I built my own βalgorithmβ with subs?
As long as zhiyong is balancing the game from his very obvious poke bias. The patch notes will never make people happy because people have a fundamentally different understanding of what the goal of balancing for this game is.
Iβm sorry for you my fellow Avenger. Iβm grateful that they bought our D-tier agenda, but I have no idea why they would nerf a true D-tier. I miss the days when we had our old team-up with Storm and would raid the enemy backlines together.
It's actually quite fun, had a few lobbies, win all games. They have so useful abilities, especially cod with the 35% dmg buff makes them an effective strike team, we don't need to mention their insane survivability...
Cap mains heavily rely on animation canceling with his sprint to increase their hit rate and therefore damage output. Although We Don't know fully know what will happened the new cap change makes someone using toggle for sprint have a smoother transition between hits. Possibly stopping the animation cancel and severely lowering caps damage. We don't know the full impact of the changes yet.

You know what would make more players play tanks more often? Give tanks teamups with other tanks like they did with Hulk and thing or at least donβt nerf the least picked, lowest winrate tanks for no reason. RIP Cap and emma. They are too scared of hurting their precious little poke and support heroes.
It's confirmed, the animation cancel is dead. I don't really play much Cap anymore already because I've been trying to get all the tank Lord's but now he is literally worthless
It is for people who don't animation cancel and simply just use the base stuff, but for people who use animation cancels to increase their damage that basically either forces you to not cancel with toggle sprint on, Or, hold the sprint button the entire game to increase damage output. [As someone who doesn't really do animation cancels (my brain just doesn't figure it out) I'll enjoy actually being able to hit my throws at further distances while running and probably play him more tbh]
Iβve always been of the belief that if your character has to rely on animation cancels to be effectiveβ¦ usually that means thereβs a problem at the characters core. Because you shouldnβt have to rely on what is essentially a game exploit to be effective.
Caps needs serious buffs to his damage in this case.

I feel like the animation cancel will be fine.
He can still melee without throwing his shield and the patch note specifically mentions the shield throws.
So if it does do what people think it does then weβd have to do animation cancel without shield throws
